We arrived at 4:45 on Friday the 20th of Dec. This place is kinda hidden off of 301. Next to where they have wrestling. We got seated quickly and there were only 4 people at a one other table. Juanita was nice and friendly. She got us chips and salsa which were house made and they were pretty good. Salsa had great flavor. Chips and salsa sets up the rest of the meal so I was looking forward to a great meal. I got 2 tacos ala cart and some Mexican rice. The rice had good flavor and the tacos were pretty good not great though. All topping seemed fresh and meat had good flavor. Wife’s enchiladas were just ok. She was indifferent about them. The house Margarita was not bad for $5, it had alcohol in it and the mix was good. Juanita did a fine job as a server and took care of us. The place seemed pretty clean. The big question is will I go back? I would go back if friends wanted to, but I wouldn’t drive 30 minutes from my house to go there again.

First impression of this place was it looks sketch from the outside but the moment you walk in you see very beautiful Mexican decor, the place is huge. The food is amazing hands down. The moment the plate was brought to the table my mouth watered up immediately & the smells you get here is amazing. Definitely I was blown away with how good the food is here. Not overpriced & if you’re very hungry & around the area, this is the place to stop by. The rice was freshly cooked. The refríes beans were so good & fresh. The meat was well seasoned & the sauce make a beautiful combination. Check this place out if you want real Mexican food.

Intereating little hideaway. I had no idea this restaurant existed until my husband told me about it.
It is definitely very festive and decorated with a variety of bright colors. There is tons of indoor seating. It looks like an older venue since some of the seat cushions are ripped. But when you walk in, you are definitely greeted with a Mexican vibrant vibe.
Our waitress was quiet. She was almost too quiet. ….I can see how some may take that as being unfriendly.
We were split on the food…..some of the crew liked their dishes, but I wasn’t a fan of the enchilada sauce on mine. The tacos and quesadilla were good.
The drinks were not strong at all. I had a double margerita, and it was eh. It made me full drinking it since it was so big, but that’s it.
The chips and salsa were good.
They hold events in a room connected to the reataraunt…. midget wrestling, corn hole tournaments, etc. I heard the wrestling is a hoot, so I may go back and check it out.

From the outside of the restaurant I had pretty low expectations, but once inside I was surprised. It is a festive and colorful restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu had lots of great options. Our food was just as flavorful as the restaurant was colorful. Wow, just delicious. If I’m back in the area I would definitely stop in for a meal.

So when you pull in the parking lot it would seem they are not there. Lol I saw an open sign at the very end and realized that was the place. We went for lunch. As you can see in my pictures it was almost just us there. The place is BEAUTIFUL. The food was priced pretty good for lunch. I posted the lunch menu. I wish there would have been more choices. The taste was ok, but the service just wasn’t there. Any time we needed something we had to find her to get it. I also asked for a box and my drink to go 2 or 3 times I finally got one box and settled for that. We may try the taco Tuesday everyone talks about, but if the service was subpar when empty not sure it would be worth it when they are actually busy…

Enjoyed Taco Tuesday in this authentic atmosphere. Enjoyed the server’s recommendations plus the margaritas went down smoothly too. Pretty enjoyable!

Not sure how one does it but this place removed the flavor out of everything. Even the bottle of hot sauce on the table had less flavor than ketchup. Carnitas chunks were like 75% fat and still lacked any flavor. The chips were homemade and fairly good but the salsa is like a can of tomato paste and water. The beans lacked flavor, the rice was like shredded cardboard. Avoid this unless you lost your sense of taste years ago. But for dessert you can add the super unfriendly waitress.

This is an excellent choice for Mexican food if you’re in the area
The food was very good and tasty. The only drawback for me were the chairs that had no cushions and were very uncomfortable to sit in

Just moved here 6 months ago and was looking for a good Mexican restaurant. Service was terrible at the beginning when we sat at the bar. Bartenders seem busy with everything else other than us. Finally got acknowledged after at least 5 minutes went by. Had to ask for a menu and was told right away they were out of salsa. Seriously? Then after being ignored again for over 5 minutes I asked for a table. Server was nice but it took forever for our food to be served and then it was cold. We were there for a total of 2 hours for 3 tacos and the enchilada dinner. Needs to be managed a lot better. No plans to go back.
