This place was so incredible. I had a great time eating here. The atmosphere was well-decorated and comfortable with high ceilings. My friend and I loved our strawberry mojitos- they have a great bartender. The birria tacos were seriously some of the best i’ve ever had. Great restaurant + service!

Went on Valentine’s day. Service was great, the food was delicious. Their Mole sauce was the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant, tastes very authentic. The vegan tacos were surprisingly delicious and I highly recommend them! Everything was amazing, will definitely be coming back! Only downside was that the Margaritas were a wee bit expensive for what you get.

I would have given 4 stars, but this restaurant up-charged me when I asked if I could have some hot sauce for my fish tacos and they did it without informing me. THAT DOESN’T FLY EVER! Apart from that the food was just alright and the portions were quite small. Came in hungry and left hungry. Meh…

My family ate here and the atmosphere was beautifully decorated with amazing art. A very cozy place to have reasonable priced drinks, food, and cocktails.
They provided a baby chair for my granddaughter and suggested great and healthy appetizers. The restaurant was very spacious, clean bathroom with a baby changing table. I love this place and highly recommend to anyone who likes Mexico food.

Waiter was very nice, but wish he had taken our dinner order sooner. Bit of a wait between appetizers and main course and to get our drinks. Enjoyed their chips & salsa and frozen margaritas. Fajitas were subpar. A bit pricier than other Mexican restaurants. They charge an extra $3 for cheese on the fajitas and $4 for the fajita topping plate.

I used to be a regular customer here and always enjoyed the chicken, rice, black beans with pico de gallo and salsa verde. When I saw they changed it to Pollo Verde, I was excited and thought it would be an upgrade to a dish I already loved. Unfortunately, it was the opposite.
The two large grilled chicken breasts were almost inedible—tough, rubbery, and with a slight funky aftertaste/smell that made it seem like they had been cooked days earlier and were close to spoiling. For $22, that’s unacceptable.
The beans and tortillas were good, but sadly, that’s not enough to make up for such poor quality on the main item. It’s disappointing because I used to eat here at least once a week, living just five minutes away. But after this experience, they’ve lost a loyal customer.

We have been to El Sol many, many times. Randall is the absolute best server we have ever come across. He’s personable , funny, knowledgeable about the menu and drinks! I love to make a stop here when I’m visiting from out of town. He made me the best Jalapeño Margarita I have ever had. Thank you for making my birthday celebration so special!

The food was delicious and well prepared. Although it is difficult to adhere to the tastes of the original country in downtown Harrisburg, the food was a pleasant surprise. The service was excellent. Our server, a tall, slender young man, was courteous and knowledgeable. The atmosphere and decor were beautiful. In all, a lovely experience. Well done!
