From out of town, Came here for a concert. We got out super late and everything else was packed and or closed. This place was an absolute treasure!! Not only are they open super late, but the food was hot and delicious. We got tacos and a torta, and all of it was so good and fresh. Very filling as well. The chips and salsa were fresh and refilled often. Truthfully, I haven’t had tacos this good in a very long time. The service was good and fast. Will be coming back here when passing through Birmingham!!!

Authentic, authentic, authentic ! I haven’t visited this restaurant in over a decade but the experience was just as great as the first experience that I’ve had. They’re open very late, which is awesome for people who like to experience the nightlife and get something to eat afterwards. The food is awesome. I had the quesadilla with rice and beans, fresh salad, & guacamole that was made to order with fresh limes. Customer service was excellent from beginning to end. We were immediately seated upon arrival with no hesitation of service. I will definitely be back. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food.

Tacos were not very good!! Food was over priced and even though it was close to closing the employees had a dry and stand offish attitude. Accidentally forgot keys inside their establishment and instead of letting us find them they declared keys were not inside and left us (2 females) alone in their dark parking lot. Needless to say the keys were found inside the next day with no apology!!

Horrible unpleasant service. Does not serve frozen drinks. Waitress stated they were a beer bar. Margaritas taste and look like green kool aid. My complaint is mainly the server.

This place has great food, and a definite hole in the wall vibe. Very much feels like a place that caters to its community.
They’re open really late, and serve food late too. It helps to know a little Spanish because the menus don’t explain every item, but you don’t *have* to. Overall, great spot for authentic Mexican that doesn’t feel like a tourist trap.

The food was not good at all; didn’t taste like authentic Mexican food too me. No disrespect, It just had a bad taste. I love Mexican food and eat it all the time. The margaritas had a bad after taste. ( I had frozen) gave mines to someone else. But, the service was great and the people was nice!

I will never return to this town of Birmingham again. After eating here we went to get gas and there was a dude asking my gf for money. Pretty sure he was thinking about trying to rob us. One of the customers in the station was acting sketchy too. Now as for the restaurant the food was good. There was hardly anyone there and it was a long wait for food. Their sauce is a bit different..I prefer traditional style salsa. Waitress was very courteous and professional. The music was pretty loud though and could have been turned down

I came around 4 pm on a Saturday and the place was basically empty.i got the Pollo Ranchero and it was delish. The veggies were tender and warm and the chicken was well seasoned. The refried beans were creamy and beany. The rice was fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be coming back.
