Tried this place hoping to add to the good Mexican restaurants here at the lake. Giving this place 1 star is a gift only because the beer cold. We should have known to turn away when there was only a 2 top there at 6pm. The waiter could not have cared less that we were there. When he finally showed up to take our order it felt like he was doing us a favor. The queso fondido had the consistency of water. The nachos Texanos was so over cooked the meat could bounce better than a basket ball, not to mention how bone dry it was. There is definitely a reason this place was a ghost town. Run down the road to El Terreno, Cancun or Cilantro, well worth the 2-10 minute trip.

I’ve had equal so-so and good food here. But the waiter we continued to have is enough to never go back.. the audacity is appalling. Almost as if you’re a huge inconvenience. Super sad considering we live on the lake less than 5 mins from this restaurant.

This place has transformed into El Sinaloense but it is largely the same as before. Nicely redecorated and very clean. Food was good and fresh. The staff are much better so far.

Great new Mexican restaurant in West Lake. Recently renovated, it’s clean and cozy inside. The food and service are really good with a great selection of draft beer (and very cold, too!). Prices are fair, and food brought from the kitchen quickly. This is a gem of a place in the Wirtz area.

Total fail on service. I ordered a tostada but received a chalupa. Then the server told me the kitchen confused the tamal I ordered with a chalupa, which he left on the table, so now there were two. When the tamal finally came, I told the server that I had ordered a tostada but received a chalupa. He offered to get a tostada but in the interest of not wasting more food I said never mind. However when the bill came I was charged for the tostada. He refused to change the ticket and told me the difference was only two dollars and if I didn’t like it I could not come back.

Food was amazing however the service was a complete joke. He was rude the whole time (even before we took our seats). Never checked up on us and we had to ask other waiters for extra small bowls for our cheese dip, silverware for the table, napkins, and even refills. Not to mention the table FULL of drunkens right behind us.

Ordered delivery on your website and waited 2 hours before finally calling. I was told my food has been there waiting to be picked up and they don’t deliver. Person on the phone was rude and just kept saying “you want to pickup” I paid $10 extra for delivery on your freakin website. No, I don’t want to drive there and pickup my 2 hour old food. First and Last Experience with these jokers.

the food here is amazing, but it’s not worth the harassment from some of the servers. two different servers have harassed me now on three different occasions. i have no clue of their names, but one of them repeatedly would ask if i had a boyfriend, and the other gave me a napkin in the shape of a flower.

Salsa was a lil more salty than I’m used to but the spice was great! They also give you a cold cucumber tasting dipping sauce that is a nice pallet cleanser.
I asked for hot sauce and was expecting a bottle of one of the many types but the waitress brought me a condiment bowl of extra spicy that did not disappoint! Great staff! The food was amazing!

Cons, the tortilla chips were a little stale and the Pico wasn’t that good and tasted a little on the older side
