The guacamole is so good!! I didn’t particularly like my main entree but that’s about me – it was made and presented well. My husband had the parrillada and he loved it! Restaurant was very clean, nice seating, and great staff!

Authentic Mexican food absolutely delicious. Beans were so creamy. Every one of the salsas , (we tried three)were exceptional. I ordered a combo plate which was way too much for lunch. Shredded beef taco chicken tostada and a chicken enchilada with rice and beans. This has been my first time here. I will definitely be back with friends next time. This place has a full bar. The tequila selection looked exceptional. Free chips and salsa when you sit down. Always love that

Landmark restaurant shiwcasing a full menu of delights. The house salsa is chunky with a nice hint of slow burn. The Combinacion had a good portion of frijoles y arroz. I chose the tistada, taco, and enchilada, all with steak. It had a big ol’ dollop of sour cream. The furniture is all adorned with the namesake, stained and varnished. Nice, big bar. Staff were very friendly, and the service was quick.

This is our GO TO for authentic Mexican food in Milwaukee! Truly, it doesn’t get better than this. The variety of dishes is unique and plentiful, service is very friendly and fast, and everything is incredibly fresh and tasty! Delicious Margaritas as well. Definitely a hidden gem!

We ordered the Enchiladas en salsa Roja and the Menudo. They were both good but not the best I’ve tried. The food was hot, and the flavor was good. They’re mostly known for Burritos and nachos. Overall, it’s definitely worth making a stop.

Stopped for lunch for a quick bite to eat recommended by a local resident. I would’ve given this place more stars but the salsas were mediocre. The meat was okay, not a lot of flavor. We waited quite a while to have our food brought out. The shrimp cocktail needed a bit of more flavor as well. This restaurant didn’t quite well meet my expectations.
