We hosted my birthday party here today and truly cannot say enough good things. We had a large group of 38 people and used the upstairs room, and everything was handled flawlessly from start to finish. The service was impeccable, attentive, and incredibly courteous the entire time. Our guests were taken care of so well, and the staff made what could’ve been a stressful event feel completely effortless. They were kind, patient, and genuinely happy to help us celebrate. I’m so thankful to this restaurant and their team for helping make such a special day run so smoothly. Highly recommend for events and large gatherings.

Visited Athens for church services… leaving town we stopped for brunch. Crowded but we got a booth easily. Server arrived quickly and took our drink order. Our first time so we looked over the menu… and what a big menu it is! Breakfast, lunch, & dinner. My wife ordered the Taco Salad Grande w/ Guacamole & Sour Cream and Charro Beans on the side. She loved it and commented on how good the Chicken Fajita was on the salad. I picked the El San Luis Lunch Special… Chicken Flauta, Pork Tamale, & Beef Enchilada w/ Beans & Rice. Also got 2 Street Tacos on the side… 1 Chorizo… and 1 El Pastor. All was delicious! We’ll be back!

The folks at El San Luis were phenomenal to work with. We were there for my wife’s 30th birthday party – we had 40 people attend. From communicating with them months ago to reserve the upstairs, to allowing us in the night before to set up, and for the event itself. They were all friendly, helpful, patient and the food and drinks were great! Thank you!

Overall an excellent dinner. The caso was delicious with an extra flavor added. I split the Fiesta nachos and the grilled onions where amazing with the chicken. Others at the table had an enchilada dinner and a taco dinner. The food was great, but the price was absurd. $80 for chips rice and refried beans. Granted we did spend $15 on drinks. A great place to stop for our evening layover.

My friend and I went to have lunch there. We ordered the full , two person fajitas. I ordered tea and he wanted water. He only drinks water because he only has one kidney so soda and teas are bad for him. We ordered the fajitas to share because I am on a diet shot and can’t eat alot at one time. We were actually charged for chips and salsa because we shared the fajitas for two and he ordered water due to health issues. We did not know that we had to pat for chips and salsa so we were punished for our health reasons. Smh. Also, my friend called and was was told that is just the way it is. The food was great, but we won’t be back due to principles. What a scam to do to people. Smh

I had a very awful experience here. I’m one to never complain about anything, but I got overcharged and when I came back to tell them, they all had an attitude with me, super dismissive, and rolling their eyes. This may have been the best chicken mole I’ve ever had! The chicken leg quarter was very moist and the rice was delicious. The mole was everything you want, a sweet note and not bitter at all. I tried to buy sauce to go with no luck lol the salsa is also delicious, I asked for something a little spicier, both were delicious
