If I could rate this place 10 stars, I would! It’s one of my favorite restaurants!
I have been here many times and I have never once been disappointed. Sadly we now live out of the area, but whenever we are in town we always stop in and it always lives up to expectations! The service is top-notch. Hey, you guys rock! The food is awesome! My go-to is the steak enchiladas (pictured) and they are always so good! We always get the large cheese dip. But the guacamole dip is great too. The Burrito El Salto is great – and it’s huge! The fajitas are great! My wife is a big fan of the chimichangas. Overall, it’s great to be able to visit such a dependable place – the food and service have never let us down.

Server was pleasantly friendly but they got our order wrong and surprisingly did not show accountability for it which was disappointing. We had to request for utensils and remind them of our drink order. Server likely had a bad day.
Lots of parking. No way of making reservations ahead of time. The service could be better.

Enjoyed the food. Salsa is a bit bland (too tomato-y). Shrimp cocktail had a good taste (a bit watery). Taco salad is a bit small for the price but still good tasting.

It is el salto. The classic Mexican diner. I’ve only been to this one twice. I always love the OG location in Brooklyn Park and we hit the one in Parkville a lot too. Anyway. We were here for my B-day this weekend it was amazing as always. The service was incredible as always.

So where do I start…. I will never return and TacoBell is better.
The burrito looked like a taco, all the tacos were shoved into foil and were barely able to be pulled apart.
The 4 churos for $6 werent even 6 inches long each.
4, 6 ” churos for $6….. , 90% of places sell foot long ones for a dollar or two.
This place is a joke I have no clue how yall are open. The food was bland too, im so happy I didn’t leave a tip for this trash.

Food was pretty good. Everything was served fresh and hot. We had the nachos, fajitas and shrimp burrito. The side plate of black beans did not have any seasoning I had to ask for more guac and sourcream because they only gave you a teaspoon on the plate. Also, you only get one free refill on sodas.
When I received the bill they charged me for a side of sourcream and guac. Better communication would of been great. Will go back again.

I enjoy all types of food and was looking for a good Latin restaurant, we found it in El Salto. We were seated right away and before we could adjust our chairs there was Salsa and fresh made tortillas. My wife got the taco salad and I got 2 enchiladas with rice and beans. A good amount of food and the flavor was amazing, I did not take pictures but trust me it was great. We will return

We came here before a night of bowling a few doors down, and we were not disappointed. As soon as you get inside, you will be hit with the best aroma of Mexican cuisine! We were greeted and seated pleasantly and promptly. Within minutes, chips and salsa were delivered to our table, and our server appeared to take initial orders. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and always working around the restaurant to arrange for large parties or clean, and the drinks were phenomenal! We will be back!!

Good food but it should be placed in front of the guests at the same time or close. One dish not delivered until 10 minutes after other 7 guests had their meals.

Veronica and Selena are the BEST. The margaritas are very good. My husband said that was the best margarita he’s ever had. And he gets one everywhere we go. The nachos supreme were bomb!!! The fajitas for 2 are great. The fried ice cream was great as well our kids loved it. We’ve been back countless times since this review.
