Loved the place!!! I had been to this food truck area a few times before and did not have the opportunity to eat at this food truck for one reason or another. Im glad I was able to try it this time around. I love mofongo and Octapus and this mofongo with octapus salad passed my test with an A+!!!

El Sabor Ponceno. 1st time there. We’ve been at other eateries in this area. But I’ll tell. The El Ponceno, Special of the House is it. Multiple types of meat, (optional)>>lettuce, tomato, onions, sauce, and enough for two or three to enjoy and leave you full.

We were there last night. From the start service was horrible. It seemed the guy who took the order was bothered that we were even there. We were not even greeted which I don’t care but while asking questions about the menu and ordering he was just nodding and answering with an attitude. Later we also found out they had some sauces for the mofongo that he could have mentioned. My husband asked if they made conch and octopus sándwich and he said no which they did. We didn’t leave right away because I really wanted the pulpo and carrucho mofongo. When food arrived it looked good and plentiful however, the octopus tasted fishy and was chewy. Conch was fine but two out of 3 mofongos felt like deep fried maybe because they weren’t fresh but weren’t bad. Also, $25 for conch and octopus mofongo. My son had the papas locas and he who is not picky said meat was ok. I would never be back but I wouldn’t say the food was horrible just not great for the price and attitude we received. Btw we were nice the whole time. Customers are what makes your business succeed treat them better.

First time here, no churrasco, no carrucho, had octopus with mofongo the mofongo was good octopus tasted frozen. Piña colada wasn’t good and neither was the acerola. Hard No!!!!!! And the guy had an attitude, Alcapurias were good.

The guy is not that friendly I’m guessing he’s the owner. I’ve have tried three times to give them the benefit of doubt but nope. The times I’ve came NO pernil, carne frita and rice. So it’s a no for me!

Not as good as i thought it will be. Honestly even the cilantro sauce should be just sauce cause there was not even cilantro hint taste… The sandwich was really missing meat as well as the mofongos we got… I was expecting much more. Sorry.

The food wasn’t that good and it was overpriced. I ordered a piña colada and it was ok but looked very sloppy. The seafood smelled kinda weird and the sandwich didn’t have enough meat in it. I don’t recommend coming here. There are other food trucks there that are way better.
