Dropped by for lunch. The place was packed with locals. As you walk in, there’s a chalkboard with about ten different items listed as “specials”. The menu is nicely designed. Everything looks appetizing. I ordered beef enchiladas. In twenty minutes, I was eating something that tasted like it was whipped up to order. No heat lamp taste here. My assistant ordered the fajita tacos. She was too full to eat the charro beans so I took care of them. Again, the beans tasted like they simmered in the pot all night long. Very satisfying. Stop by if you can.

They have no manners I get it sometimes it’s tough I use to be a waitress but never had an attitude towards my clients for them to start closing all one section knowing it’s to early still before they close and still have clients coming in is insane. We had over 6 people and they decided to not tell us anything until after we were there sitting down for over 10 mins waiting for someone to attend us. Apart from being loud and rude to us we were waiting for no reason since we weren’t going to be attended. They need better communication n better waitress

The waitress was as helpful as she could be. The food was sent back because it was a dry steak. We all know, no steak should ever be dry.
We ordered the barbacoa and it was a good amount of food but I ordered a barbacoa taco and they slapped some beans on my plate and charged me a plate instead of a taco. Not a big deal since I wasn’t paying lol but still not the point. I noticed is all I’m saying.
My mom showed someone the roach and nobody was appalled or moved in any way, shape, or form. The reply was “they just sprayed for bugs.”
In my opinion, maybe next time take the time to wait a day or two after spraying for bugs, clean up the dead bugs, then resume with regular open hours. It just seemed a little careless and insensitive that the bug was just chilling under us and they knew he was there.
♀️ Maybe some people are okay with eating at a table while the bugs chill under their feet but it was unacceptable. I like my restaurants bug free.

The food was really good and it didn’t take long to come out. The waitress was super attentive, and she was awesome! Place is very spacious and I love the decor. Different lunch specials to choose from! Prices are reasonable, and plates are well served, plus the corn tortillas are homemade and fresh tasting!

I come for the Caldo the Res! Can never go wrong. The portion is huge, the price is right, the atmosphere is amazing. This time I came with my papi chulo and he had pork chop ranchero. Today’s special. It was a very big portion, and that was also priced Right and it had my favorite, refried beans. Large selection of menu items. They are usually very busy, and sometimes you have to wait. It is well worth the wait, and the service is pretty quick. I understand on weekends they have strolling musicians. ❤️

I love this place! They offer delicious and G-I-A-N-T chicken soup with corn tortillas, plenty of veggies and rice for only $6.99! (among a good variety of other mexican dishes) all of them delicious and for a very reasonable price. If you like to eat good Mexican food, a clean restaurant, friendly staff, and a way to save $$$! Come to El Sabor De Mi Tierra. Lately, I’ve been saving money just everywhere and having good vibes with money, I want to share this with you, I read it somewhere in thr internet, is not mine… believe it!
