El Rucon WPB is a Mexican fast food business that started in 2020 with a food truck. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, they have flourished and now operate two restaurants. Their menu offers a delightful variety including tacos, birria, quesadillas, hamburgers, hotdogs, loaded fries, and ramen.

So so so good! I got the birria tacos and bf got the birria Ramen. We split some empanadas. Everything was amazing!! It was so good we ordered the same exact thing about a week later and have been craving it ever since. Prices are great. My only complaint is that the ordering app told us 20 minutes and we had to wait an additional 15-20 once we got there. Not sure if that was their fault though, or the ordering app. Definitely not a deal breaker either way and that only happened the once. Besides that, we were both very satisfied!

Food was good, sauces are tasty, average food truck. I will gladly go back when I’m in the area but I wouldn’t make a special trip. It’s a food truck in an auto service parking lot with benches and no shade, which is perfectly acceptable for a food truck, just be prepared to eat in the sun if you stay. There’s also not much parking when the auto center is operational. The service was average, but I went before noon on a Saturday so I can’t imagine it gets better when they get slammed.

About the Taco Place:
This taco place, well-known in the West Palm Beach area, is a go-to spot for a satisfying taco experience.
About the Experience:
During my visit, I ordered a variety of tacos, and each had its own charm. The chicken taco was decent, but the carnitas stole the show with its incredible flavors. Asada came in as a close second, followed by al pastor, which could have been more flavorful. However, the birria taco was a true standout and a must-try.
In addition to the tacos, I tried the birria ramen, a unique Mexican ramen concept. The noodles were outstanding, generously paired with shredded beef. The sauces, although previously a highlight, didn’t impress as much this time.
To wash it all down, I had their heavenly horchata, which was creamy and cinnamony. I’d recommend taking it with ice to balance the sweetness.
Overall, this place is a solid choice for taco lovers, offering a range of flavors and a must-try birria taco. While not flawless, it still stands out in the West Palm Beach area. A four-star rating accurately represents this enjoyable dining experience.

I have supported this business for years and to say disappointed is just simply being nice… bottom line, DO NOT order any shrimp from here…. What you will get is fish food literally SMH. I purchased a $47.26 order (3 dishes) 2 were good enough portion servings but ONE, the shrimp tacos, I could cry… 3 shrimp tacos are approx. $14 (+$3.09 for using a card to pay); so, $17.09 and I got 2 pieces of shrimp and a whole onion diced over the meal with cilantro. I can’t even put u to words how hungry I am and to think this is the normal serving size per the restaurant.

Wasn’t overly impressed. Defintely well marketed on social media which was deceptive. The taco meats were dry and lacking in flavor. The Torta and Quesadilla weren’t bad. I was not a fan of the Pina Colada beverage, but the Strawberry one was good, although very sweet. There was a bitter aftertaste I couldn’t place on the Pina Colada one. Also, not sure if anyone else picked up on it or if I’m crazy but the meat had a curry like flavor to it, especially the steak? The shrimp box and fries probably would have been good fresh, but after a long drive home it got a bit soggy. Definitely not a to go dish in my opinion. Most likely wouldn’t return any time soon.

Came by for a DoorDash pickup for crème brûlée, but unfortunately they were out. The staff was really friendly and offered me a drink instead, which I appreciated. I can’t comment on the food since I didn’t try any, but the drink I got tasted super fresh and natural. I’ll definitely come back to try more next time.

I came here with High hopes from the great instagram marketing and flashy boxes and boy was I disappointed! Never in my life have I been to a Mexican restaraunt that has the audacity to send you away with Birria but no consomé. IF a restaurant was going to be crazy enough to serve dry birria tacos with no consomé I would at least expect that to be advertised on the menu. So after going allll the way home and discovering it was missing and driving alllll the way back, the manager says that with their special the consomé is extra. That felt like ordering a PB&J and getting home to a dry peanut butter sandwich, and then when you go back they tell you the jelly is extra because that’s the way it comes with the “special.” Whatever. I could care less about the $2s for consomé it was more so just the annoyance of the waste of time and not being told that their birria was served dry with no consomé, and let me tell you, it IS dry. After excitedly opening the food in the parking lot to eat it (finally) I was severely underwhelmed. The steak in the steak quesadilla and the birria were both under seasoned and lacked flavor, and were very dry, the best part of everything ironically was the consomé broth, whose absence set the experience off to a bad start in the first place. I’m surprised at all the positive reviews and following this place has based off of my experience, but it wouldn’t likely be somewhere I’d return.

I have visited this place multiple times and hands down the best horchata I have had, perfect amount of cinnamon and super creamy. The tacos are good but birria tacos are even better. Carnitas tacos were my favorite. The service is quick and staff is friendly. This place is always crowded so that definitely says something, parking is available easily though.

One of the best taco food truck in FL! Been here many times and we always enjoy their food. Our next target is to eat on their reastaurant in West Palm Beach. I’m happy with the expansion of their business and the grow of their followers. Highly recommended! ⭐️

If this looks like a messy blob of taco, well that’s because it is. I’ve been following the folks here on their ig and was excited to finally be in the area to try their tacos. I pulled up to a bustling parking lot, with a crowd huddled around the two trucks piling out Mexican food at rapid pace. I went for a chorizo, al pastor and pair of the birria photo’d here. Upon first glance it appeared I was in for a treat, but unfortunately it went downhill from here. Now I’m not sure if it was an off night due to the heavy crowd and expedition of the food, but these were imposed to eat. I mean that almost literally. Even with two shells (which I really dislike on a taco, completely takes away from the taste of the meat/filling), they completely fell apart rendering me to use my hands to eat them in greasy mess. This applied to all of them, which was quite the disappointment. The birria shells should have a nice crisp which complements the tenderness of the beef and gooey goodness of the cheese. The chorizo was half grease half mushy meat. I feel like they have more to offer, but I can’t say I’ll return to find out.
