Chips and salsa were good, wish the chips were a bit hotter! Salsa was very good and very light (so naturally I made a mess). The beef in the beef taquitos was good but not very flavorful. Fajitas Picantes came out piping hot but the rice and beans came Luke-warm if not cold. Fajitas were incredibly delicious and the house hot sauce is a must add! My favorite part of the ambiance was the Mexican cover of Hey there Delilah on the speakers. Overall, this is your quintessential spot for a plate full of Mexican slop. Food was very tasty, presentation was made and very stereotypical Mexican restaurant ambience.

It was very busy around dinner hour but dine in service was very good. I ordered Tacos del mar; a steak taco and consommé. The Del Mar tacos were very good. Shrimp was soft, the talapia was tasty with crispy little edges and the fried fish had an excellent crust on it. Not a lot of mean but it was very good. The sauce was good, creamy; spicy and zingy. it did over power the flavor of the taco though.
The steak taco was fair to midland. Consommé wasnt bad. Its kinda like a beef broth with a hint of spices. I also ordered a chicken taco to go. Which is more of a shredded chicken, it was ok. Overall, good eats and a hoppin place to dine in.

I love the setup here. I went early and the salsa was fresh. They were very festive with it being Halloween season. I ordered the nachos supreme… these need a lot of work. Diced tomatoes go long way. They give you one half slice of a small tomato. Under that is a bed of lettuce with the rest of the toppings at the bottom. It makes the chips under it soggy
I also ordered steak burritos. The rice was good.. these burritos weren’t bad. Steak seemed overcooked.

Very good spot for Mexican food. The place was really nice inside with a huge bar in the middle and plenty of seating. Servers were friendly. Food was very good. Salsa was excellent. I would highly recommend the free chips and salsa. Birria quesadilla was excellent.
Another reviewer mentioned the extremely low urinal in the men’s room. Well he was right and it was hilarious.

I ordered nachos. 8.99 seem you had to pick beans, meat or cheese. Then each topping i was charged and extra 75 cents! She could not answer what do I get with 8.99? Then it was a tiny sponge os guaq. And sour cream that did nothing for the nachos. There was no salsa. I got the beans and cheese that covered the chips at least. Never order again. She came back 2 times to clarify my order. Then I had stake fajita. It was thin short cuts. Came out over cooked. Why not thick tender cuts like any other restaurant. Then only 3 tortillas. It was mostly peppers and onions. The side plad had a decent amount of bean and rice on it.
When I have visited the area. I have come here 3 times hoping to get a good portion and good food. I have been disappointed 3 times now. Poor staff communication. Only one refill the whole our I was there. Felt ignored. Took 10 min for her to return after dropping the bill off. I was alone this time. This was my very last time. DO NOT RECOMMEND. ITS MOSTLY A BAR WITH NOT SO GREAT FOOD.

This place!! Was it, it delivered food, service and atmosphere. Im very picky with my food and appreciate the tiny details of everything. The food was tasty and very satisfying. I had a taco of carne asada and it was so delicious. Meat was tender, corn tortilla was soft and it had the right amount of cilantro and onion.
The tables, chairs, everything in the decor was beautiful. They even had this cute mirror that said the restaurant’s name and “la patrona” everything was great.

We loved the restaurant and over all the food was very good, but one of the meals was a soup that was warm, not hot. They did warm it up upon request. But it was a bit slow. Really nice people tho.

This place opened a year or so ago. I’ve been here several times, but I could not get my husband to go. Finally, I talked him into it. He loved it and we’ve been back twice! Their Strawberry Sangria is my drink favorite!
