i ordered a carne asada burrito with beans, no rice. Unfortunately I got the opposite. (I was already home when I discovered this and was unable to return) I paid $16 for a massive pile of rice in a tortilla. The carne asada was so finely chopped, hardly any pieces, it was more like rice with a hint of carne asada flavor. A carne asada burrito used to be thick with a ton of meat and now it’s non existent. Even if this was what I ordered, this is completely unacceptable for $16. The piece of meat in the picture was by far the largest piece in the entire burrito. They used to be great, but they have gone WAY downhill.

Great for take out and friendly dine in experience! We’ve dined for both around 4 times and it’s been consistently good! We’ve never encountered a counter service restaurant where they continue to check on you at the table. So nice. The tacos are delicious and everything is reasonably priced. I never leave reviews but felt like this spot deserved it!

The food was fresh and pretty good! We had to the torta (messy, but lots of meat/good ingredients) and the gorditas. The carnitas were really good, great salsa bar and good drinks.

So we are from salem or we go to Tacoma to visit family & we always eat el antojo & the manger told us to try the el rinconsito in Vancouver wa so 1 day we stopped to try it, my food was good so was my friends but they never served my husband his food then when we were about done they asked if everything was good & we told them they hadn’t brought my husband’s food then they asked if he wanted his food we said no thank you & got a refund….the thing is the workers just socialized, amongst each other, were laughing and talking and goofing around. So I had called the manger in Tacoma to talk with him but he wasn’t in so I left a message for him to call us & haven’t heard from anyone…. as for el antojo we love the food there go everything we go visit family even turned our family on to them….

i usually love this restaurant so much. but unfortunately my most recent visit was very bad. i used to work with a girl who works here now (monica) she left the job on bad terms and i’m certain that’s why she did what she did today. so my friend and i ordered the exact same thing and somehow only mine was burnt to a literal crisp. sopitos are supposed to be soft NOT so hard that i can’t even bite it. all of my friends were fluffy and soft while mine were literally inedible… i couldn’t even cut through it. i hate to leave a negative review but i just found this to be absolutely ridiculous. i left them a nice tip on top of that so i don’t understand why they would do this to me, especially because i come here multiple times a month for dinner! they also kept staring and laughing, i could only assume it was at us. the food is usually really good, maybe just avoid if you see that girl on the clock ♀️

I still love this place but I have had a few issues with order being wrong or bad customer service. Thankfully Flor is AMAZING and she is on it and all about customer service. I freaking love her!

This place was amazing! The staff was super friendly and fast. The tacos were the best I have had since moving here to Vancouver. To top it all off, the flan is perfection! I am Mexican and this good is as authentic as it gets here in Washington.

Disappointing, slow service, missing items and it tasted like over priced mediocre food. I was really disappointed. Took 45 minutes to get our food in the lobby yet cars were continuously going through the drive thru. We were not the only ones. Another couple was there over an hour in the lobby waiting for their food.
Best part of the meal was the Pineapple soda!!

Texan here; I was afraid I was gonna miss out on Tex-Mex cuisine when I moved but so far, it’s all good!
Good rice and beans (more than 5$ for a side order is still shocking though), good pickled carrots, GREAT Adobada sauce, and solid tacos. A michelada for less than 10$ would be the only way to improve this place. Will return!!
