First, the French fries. They were clearly frozen, basic supermarket fries. For a restaurant with such good food, this feels lazy. Potatoes cost almost nothing — why not make fresh, house-made fries?
Second, the “fried ice cream.” This was honestly shocking. It was not fried at all — just a scoop of ice cream rolled in cornflakes. That feels misleading.
The place is nice and the rest of the food is genuinely good, which makes these details even more frustrating. Small things like this really affect the overall experience.
The moment you walk in, the vibrant atmosphere and incredible smells transport you south of the border. But the real star is the food. Just look at these tacos—perfectly griddled tortillas holding a generous pile of savory, slow-cooked meat, topped with a fresh mix of cilantro and onion. The roasted jalapeno and onion on the side add a perfect smoky kick.
And the salsa bar? It’s a work of art. From mild to fire-hot, there’s a salsa for every palate, each one bursting with fresh, complex flavors. The deep red and green sauces are standouts. They don’t just serve a sauce; they serve a full spectrum of flavor.
Every bite is a testament to genuine, heartfelt cooking. This isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. If you’re serious about authentic Mexican food, you owe it to yourself to come here.
I got the Chipotle Enchilda with chicken and it was delicious! The portion size is not too big, I would say it’s perfect for a meal for a single person. My boyfriend got the chicken tacos and they were also very yummy. They seemed very clean and were not overwhelming taste-wise. I was a really big fan of the food we got from here and I would love to come back sometime soon!
The service was great, everyone is very kind. The atmosphere is very homey and it felt very cozy inside. I’m from Atlanta so it was nice to see the Coke rep <3
I will be back! 🙂
The quesadilla was the highlight for me—cheesy, nicely cooked, and very satisfying. The burrito was average, a bit plain compared to the other items.
Overall, it’s a good spot for a quick and filling meal. The food is reasonably priced and definitely worth the money, especially if you’re going for the fish tacos or quesadilla.
