The first thing you notice is the employee’s reaction as soon as you’re greeted. It’s like, “Oh no! Another customer!” Ugh. Annoying! They treat you like just another number! And while I was waiting for my food to be prepared, I took a look inside the preparation area where the griddle is and the cook who prepares your food, regardless of who it is, is grabbing and touching everything around him: brooms, dirty objects, cleaning towels full of bacteria, lids, etc., all without using gloves. And he does it halfway through the cooking process, when your food is already cooked. They reheat old, already cooked food in the microwave. Never eat there; it’s horrible, and they have no hygiene standards or awareness that they can make customers sick. That’s why I rate this place as the worst in Fresno this month, and by the way, I got a stomach bug as a result of visiting this inconceivable place. Prices are way too high for wha you get !

I think that the truck is better than the restaurant. All the food from the truck is very tasty and well seasoned. I haven’t had a chance to try everything because I really love the tripas, carnitas, as well as the carne asada. It doesn’t matter if it’s tacos or burritos, I love it! Next time you go, try a half tripas and half carnitas burrito.Hmm delicious. Good hot sauce. Wish it was a little bit more spicier.

Delicious torta and burrito. Nice drive thru window staff. Order the carnitas crispy! Warning: if you have a shellfish allergy, you need to tell them because my food was cross contaminated with shellfish.

I have tried fried fish around the world & right here at this El Rinconcito if you get a chance this is a must try if you like seafood or fish! Fill fried fish takes up the whole plate, the pic is half because I had to stop myself before it was all gone. The vegis were steamed with a scoop of butter, served with flour or corn tortillas, chips and salad. A side of Mexican rice for the Win! CA Mexican food is the Bombdeezie

After being a long term customer for several years, I am no longer content after this experience.

Placed a phone order for a burrito and three tacos. Paid cash and forgot to ask for pico.
Upon returning I glanced at the receipt and noticed the additional costs on the bottom. A taco and a custom item totaling $4.68.
When I asked the cashier about the issue, she was adamant that she only charged me for three tacos. She verbally made it clear that she charged that amount.
Well, after totaling the correct math, we were incorrectly charged nearly $5 more and the employee didn’t want to discuss or clarify the issue.
I had high hopes that their second business would be successful. But lately their food and service has been turning unfortunate.

The food here is pretty good and staff is usually fine depending on who’s working. Only problem Is they’re stingy with the salsa and I need more than one little container for my burrito. You tell them how many and shorten you.

El Rinconcito can do better. I was disappointed that the chilaquiles were soggy rather than crispy as described on their menu. We ordered an agua de Jamaica and it was way too sweet, we watered it down to make it better. My niece ordered a burrito de barbacoa and as picky as she is she actually really likes it! It was packed with tasty meat. I wouldn’t order the chilaquiles plate from here again because they were soggy and not worth the $17 for soggy tortillas.

Typically the food is very delicious but tonight their beans had way too much salt. It made my bean and cheese burrito inedible.

Unfortunately I didn’t discover the salty beans until I got home.
