Alegres Mexican Restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The service is excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained, which makes the experience even better. The food is authentic and full of flavor. The ceviche tostada is very tasty—fresh and perfectly seasoned. This Mexican food was absolutely fantastic. Their steak tacos with onion and cilantro was absolutely amazing!!! The service was wonderful and quick. Their salsa was one of the best I have ever ever ever tasted!!! The strawberry margarita was mixed perfectly. I just cannot say enough how good and authentic this food really was. Very good lunch. Great tasting and fresh. Restaurant was very clean. The staff was welcoming and polite. The server visited our table several times to refill drinks and make sure the lunch was to our liking.

This has to be the best authentic Mexican food around. The food is made fresh, bright and early every day. The owner and family are very welcoming, humble and kind. The owner is a top notch mixologist and ensures every drink recipe is perfected. Try a margarita, a steak taco, fajitas, or even a steak sandwich. They have a wide selection of tequilas and whiskey/bourbons, too! They have a sister business, two doors done, which is El Alegre Bar and Event Center. Check them both out!

Found this place during our overnight stop and was very impressed from the moment staff greeted us upon entering their restaurant. I don’t think you could go wrong on any choice. Very flavorful with attention to presentation to make the meal even more enjoyable. We have put this place in our return favorites on our next stop through the area.

This place has amazingly delicious and authentic Mexican foods and the presentation of their dishes is equally as impressive! The vegetables were very fresh and they’re is an impressive array of vegetarian meals available. I am very cautious of Mexican restaurants because I have an allergy to peppers (not the spice). The server was very attentive and assured me there would be no peppers in my food and he absolutely did make sure. I was there at lunchtime and the food came very quickly. Highly recommend!

Every time we get food from El Alegre, whether it’s take out or dine in, the service and food is top notch. The owner and staff are extremely friendly. I’ve tried many things off the menu, but my all time favorites are the chorizo potato tacos, steak fajitas and any type of burrito. Everything else is still delicious, but those are my personal favorites.

Always good! ALWAYS! The service, the food, the drinks!!! You are greeted as an acquaintance, and you leave a friend! There is a warmth to this place. There is a very large variety of tequilas. There new club is BEAUTIFUL! We are seeing our friend’s band There tomorrow evening.
