It was our first time here, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. The server was very nice, but the food was not. We had beef stew and Oxtail, and it wasn’t very good. We had a meat pie, and the meat was cold inside. Might come back.

Truly authentic Dominican food (take my word for it, my mom was Dominican and I lived there for 16 years). That said, this place is the definition of a “hole in a wall” restaurant, but it is 100% the real deal. I had the Mofongo with Chicharrón (pork rinds). Check it out!

Starting with the best… Food was amazing! I ordered the roasted pork with yellow rice and red beans. Meat was perfectly seasoned and super tender. Rice texture was perfect and beans were delicious. My boyfriend ordered the Oxtail with white rice and black beans and he loved everything. We also ordered a mofongo and was soft and delicious. The restaurant is dominican but I think they have a puertorrican chef in the back too lol because food taste dominican/puertorrican. The service was excellent and the food arrive fast (15 min). Please note that this is a small restaurant, a little heaven for anyone looking to eat good food . We are definitely coming back.

I was really disappointed with this restaurant. It’s advertised as a Dominican spot, but the food is far from authentic. The flavors just weren’t there, and it didn’t feel like real Dominican cooking at all. Honestly not sure how it has a 4.4 star rating—it doesn’t live up to the hype. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for genuine Dominican food.

Food is very good, the music while you eat is great like transporting you to the Caribbean. Had been trying to come for months , well worth the wait for such a gem as I’m a Dominican in an area with very little
