Sapwood was already next-level in beer but now you can also get an excellent selection of tacos too! You don’t want to miss out on Albura Taqueria. We tried the barbacoa, fish, fried avocado, and mushroom asada tacos, along with brussel sprouts and elote fritters appetizers. All were delish!
The mushroom was my favorite taco, followed by the fish, barbacoa, and last but not least the fried avocado. The flavor of the mushroom taco was excellent! I appreciated the fried avocado was light and didn’t overpower the taco. The char on the sprouts was perfect. Each meal is served with a side of pickled veg (Yum!!!) and chips. The roja salsa was a bit smokey and had excellent flavor.
And Albura Lager and the Pineapple Smuzi were the perfect beer pairing!
Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

I was so excited to check out Albura today after driving by the large “Beer & Tacos” sign over and over, and it did not disappoint. The elite fritters were extremely tasty and the tacos were perfect. The only downside was that they were super popular, the place was packed and thus a little loud inside from other patrons, but that’s what happens when a local place gets popular!

Already fans of Albura’s tacos, we were super excited to try brunch! Highlights included the bottomless fresh coffee (from Vigilante Coffee Co.) and the crispy hashbrown. Delicious!

We love sapwood but sorry to say the tacos weren’t that good. The tortilla was very hard on the edges and it was single layered which broke very easily. It’s okay to have with drinks but they weren’t that flavorful, maybe we should’ve gotten the bison one? The brussel sprouts were really good though!

Great beer, and now with great food! We love the family friendly atmosphere here and trying out the creative beers. Ordered 5 sets of tacos last weekend but they were so good that we accidentally ate them all before taking pictures of the last two…

The food was amazing and so flavorful! Highly recommend the Elote Corn Fritters! The beers were delicious and there was a nice variety of options for everyone. The plant walls and ambiance are great whether you are looking for a lively place to meet up with friends or a nice evening out as a family. We enjoyed our visit so much and will definitely be back!

The barbacoa taco was incredible! The Brussels sprouts were also unique and delicious.
The corn fritters weren’t as crispy as I would have liked but I showed up right as last call was announced and ill be back another time to eat again for sure!

Did not enjoy really any of the food there. The corn fritter was not good, the Brussels were not cooked well and sauce was so salty. Taco was OK. Had high hopes with the high reviews but left very unsatisfied and confused.

Albura Taqueria is an absolute gem! Their bison tacos are tender, smoky, and were made from bison fed spent grains from beer brewing. The attached brewery has amazing beers.
Don’t skip the elote corn fritters; they’re crispy on the outside, moist inside, and perfect for sharing (if you can resist finishing them yourself). I also loved the choice of house-made hot sauces, which range from zesty to fiery and let you dial up the heat just the way you like it. Friendly service, quick turnaround, and flavors that pop—this spot deserves every one of its five stars!

Tacos are fantastic with generous portion of fresh chips and a bit of pickled veggies. I can’t think of a beer that pairs better with tacos and corn chips than Sapwood’s Albura Lager.
