Ate here 3 times during my week staying near the ruins and got take out once. Tried the watermelon water, horchata, beef fajitas, and also caldo de res 3x because it’s my favorite. The prices, food, and service are all good 🙂

Loved, loved, LOVED this place! The staff is so friendly, and kind. I had the steak, my bf had the chicken and we also got the guacamole and shrimp ceviche. It was 10/10. From flavor, to amount, to everything in between. If you’re in Tulum and you’re looking for a good and affordable place to eat, this is it! In the middle of a main road but so worth it!

Ambience: if you have a chance to sit downstairs, I would say that’s the better option, as upstairs would have the loud roads next to you, with lots of big trucks passing by.
Worthiness: We were apparently classified as tourist, and we were charged 500 pesos for 2 Margaritas, which we said was way too expensive, and argued with the staff. The prices are not shown in the Menue and compared to the food, this is defo a surprise and totally off. Yes, we could have asked, and will do in the future.
Knowing that, we also gave a small tip, which then turned into even worse behavior of the staff. As the food was OK, I would say I wouldn’t stop here for my lunchtime again.

It was awesome guys. Delightful flavor on tortillas and good drinks. Notice that juices here are not actually juices, flavored waters would be the name. Even though they’re awesome and tasty.!! Take your time to make a stop here.

If you want to feel at home come to El Rincón de la Tia ! I felt like I was at my tias casa. All the food is made fresh to order so there is a little bit of a wait but it’s worth it! We had guacamole, empanadas and the asada de res tacos. The tortillas are hecha a mano ❤️. The carne es bastante bueno. The service is great too. A very relaxed atmosphere. We came for lunch and it was perfect. We almost missed it because there is another restaurant right next door, so make sure you ask if you are at La Tia’s. Everything is fresh, don’t miss out !
