1st off my daughter saw this place on TikTok and recommended it because it’s right down the street from my job and I’m glad she did. Omg…Angel is a sweetheart. Very personable and accommodating. I didn’t catch the other guys name…sorry, but he was very nice too. This was my 1st time going and I had the carne Asada tacos and elotes. Both were amazing!!! It’s nothing fancy just a good feeling spot. They make feel at home. I will definitely be returning.

The tacos and quesadillas are amazing! They do not cheap out of the servings of meat. I usually get the trumpo tacos but tried the quesadilla this time and it was LOADED down with meat. As always amazing flavor, great salsa and I love the potato they put on the side!

Can’t remember exactly how to pronounce or spell the meat, but gave my nephew and I samples of a couple. Absolutely phenomenal! I was a little sleep deprived, so not remembering much, but remember it was a warm, welcoming environment. The sauce choices were different, but excellent, watch out for the habanaro, it has attitude by itself, but on the food, total harmony. And as you can see, there was plenty. Taco special, 20 tacos for under $30
Plus, if your an adventure eater, they have a burger challenge, looked to crazy for me, but good luck.

I got the torta de trompo. It was hands down my favorite torta that I have had. My fiance got the quesadilla grande de trompo and said it was very good. Salsa verde was good too. Def returning!!

Paid 35 dollars for 10 tacos and skimped half the meat in the taco, waited 30 minutes for rice and highly don’t recommend extremely overrated quality. Charged 3$ per taco and was expecting a lot more. Eating mostly tortilla

Truly the trompo was some of the best I’ve ever had. That being said everything else about this place was upsetting. I loved the fact that it was drive thru but the service at the window was lacking. I asked the guy at the window (mind you he had a notepad in hand) for 3 trompo tacos and 3 barbacoa tacos, a side of rice and beans, and a large Horchata. He charges me $15 for 3 trompo tacos and the rice and beans. I assumed that was the price was for all 6 tacos since the receipt wasn’t itemized. We waited for our drink at the window til he came back and told us he forgot to ring it in. (That should’ve been my sign to check my food before pulling away from the place.) Nevertheless I got home and like I said the 3 trompo tacos were amazing but the rice was hard and the beans tasted like they were prepackaged and not made fresh. I’m not sure if I would give this place another try but if I would, I would ask the guy at the window to read back my order and remind myself to NOT get their rice and beans.

If you weren’t sure to come, take this as a sign! El Reyno offers a variety of Mexican food including tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, street corn and even sushi! The trompo and corn are their specialty but to me everything is just as special and delicious. The service is great, Angel makes an even better experience. I personally love it and is definitely worth the drive, I definitely recommend it It lives up to the hype.
