We really enjoyed this little taco shop. Very simple menu; clean and comfy inside. Ordering was a breeze.

Tacos were great little street tacos. Obviously scratch made. They aren’t what you’d find in SoCal or Houston, but they are very good. Rice and beans were fantastic as well.

I would visit here often if I lived in the area. Kudos and thank you!

This place is so good no joke. The pictures look weird bc of my camera but the food was so good. My drink was forgotten and when I called she immediately offered to make it but I was already too far away and she refunded me without even having to drive back. Her making the refund so easy made the experience 100% time better. I’ll be returning for sure. Also the drink was no big deal bc I forgot about it just like them. Also the cashier was so sweet she gave food suggestions on what to buy

I have been dying to try this place, because it’s the only restaurant I’ve heard that does a classic california burrito in town. I went for the first time & didn’t see it on the menu, but the front register person helped once I asked. Not a long wait at all & super fresh! It was everything I expected & more! Got it to-go & it was still super crispy & yummy once I got home. Can’t wait to have it again. This is how you do it yall.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was excellent. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The picadillo and tinga tacos were my favorites, and the dulce de leche empanadas were the perfect sweet finish.

They have an amazing all you can eat taco Tuesday deal that I definitely recommend trying out!

The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive. The restaurant vibe was welcoming, with indoor and outdoor seating, and even a fun claw machine for a little added entertainment.

Can’t wait to come back! Definitely a new Tallahassee favorite!

I got the mimosa(very chilled and enjoyable), pork burrito( so big! the meat was seasoned, cooked and flavored such that I wanted to keep eating…but I was full. :p ) Thanks for the nosh and full belly for the rest of my night. The wife enjoyed two tacos with our table queso dip.

Parking is difficult but we got there just as it opened. It’s tucked around the corner and a welcomed find.

This place is an absolute joke. El Rey Tacos & Beer served some of the worst food I’ve ever had the misfortune of eating. The chips were bland, stale, and tasted like cardboard. The “guacamole” was literally just plain smashed avocado — no seasoning, no lime, no effort. Calling it guacamole is an actual scam.

The tacos? Pathetic. The shrimp and chicken were completely unseasoned — no spice, no flavor, nothing. Like eating rubber wrapped in a tortilla. The queso was gritty, weirdly salty, and honestly inedible.

But the worst part? The burrito. It was a disaster. Plain white rice with no seasoning or cilantro, no cheese, and chewy, flavorless steak that felt like eating rubber bands. The lettuce was wilted and tasted off, like it had been sitting in a fridge too long.

And all of this garbage cost FORTY DOLLARS. Yes, forty dollars for food that was barely edible. I cannot believe I paid that much for what felt like punishment.

Save your money, your taste buds, and your dignity. This place is an embarrassment. DO NOT go here. Ever.

Had a wonderful lunch experience here! I ordered the cactus tacos on corn tortilla and chips with guacamole. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. I was surprised with a desert from their menu on the house which made me feel very welcomed. Will for sure come back and try more on the menu!

The whole experience was great. The young lady was very nice and courteous. I ordered 2 birrea tacos, and 2 steak tacos. It was maybe 5 minutes from the time I ordered until I received my food. As soon as I saw my plate I just knew the tacos I ordered were going to be good. And they did not disappoint. They were awesome. Best tacos I’ve eaten in north Florida. I will definitely be returning. This is definitely my new restaurant for Hispanic food.
