Everything I’ve tried has been good. Breakfast burritos, pancakes, lunch and dinner. The prices are super good.

The service was excellent! During my visit, I was approached by staff and asked if everything was ok. If I needed anything? Very friendly. The food. Wow, I had a chile verde burrito. Delicious!! The salsa/ chips perfect. As I was leaving they asked if I wanted a refill for my drink. Just awesome service. Thank you El Rey Mexican Restaurant.

The food here is consistently outstanding—always a 10/10—but it’s the staff that truly make this place special. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. On my last visit, I witnessed a beautiful moment of kindness: one of the staff offered a free meal to a homeless man who came in hungry. She didn’t hesitate, even though she easily could have turned him away. That level of compassion and humanity is rare, and it speaks volumes about the people who run this place. Amazing food, even better hearts.

Good: great service, delicious pico & chips, good coffee, great value.
Could improve: Huevos rancheros could be more authentic (i.e. in a tortilla with real ranchero salsa), chilaquiles were a bit bland

My boyfriend seems to love this place for some reason lol I’ve gave it multiple try’s way more than I really should have. Had the super burrito their salsa is watery in it and literally soaks your whole burrito, had the taquitos they were burnt and basically hallow. Just got their “red enchilada” if you could even call it that. I don’t know if they taste their food before selling it to other people but their beans, rice, chicken and basically everything else on their menu has no flavor. The red sauce is basically non existing with the huge lack of flavor there. The Mexican rice is basically white rice with a hint of food coloring. The chicken basically soaked in water like they just pulled it straight out of a bucket of water and threw it all together…over all you could spend your money else where for cheaper and better food. Other than me picking apart the enchilada, this is literally how my food was made.

Friendly and the food is good. I had tacos asada and an orchata. Side order of chips and salsa♡ Nice comfort Mexican food. I’ll have to come back & try their other dishes one day.
