I wasn’t too familiar with Peruvian food besides tamales, so I kept it simple in effort to try something new. If you can truly cook..the simplest dishes will feed your soul. The fish was soo fresh. Being from Miami, I can always tell if my seafood is freshly caught or frozen. Everything was made to perfection. The sauces they give you add soo much flavor to an already complete meal. Authentic food that can be easily explained to help you find your perfect match for your tummy. I went back days later,& yum yum. My server Ricky was so awesome answering all of my questions. I can’t wait to come back for the ice cream. They were out of it today, but they make an ice cream from a local Peruvian fruit. Sounds so yummy. The food was very reasonably priced. I will be back with my son. He is going to love it here. I spent $25,& could not finish my food. I had plenty for later

This is absolutely unacceptable. This is a hard jagged plastic buried in the potato! If I had not caught this I seriously could have been injured. It would have torn up my throat!

The food at El Rancho de Sarasota was incredible — super fresh, full of flavor, and genuinely authentic. As a Peruvian, it’s hard to find places that truly get it right, but this spot absolutely does.
A big thank-you to Lexi, who took care of our group of 11 with patience and great energy.
Highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back.

So glad we stopped in for dinner. The yucca fries are so tasty and I dont feel guilty eating it. The seafood plate came with three sauces. Yum!! Table mate had steak and he cleaned the plate. The passion fruit drink was sweet and perfect for a steaming hot day. Only disappointment – they were out of delicious sounding cookies. Can’t wait to go back!

Clean inside and clean bathroom. They didn’t have any yuca fries which was unfortunate but I had some of the soup and it was good.

The restaurant is cozy, the dishes are very tasty, after waiting so long for the real Peruvian food to arrive and they did it very well, the “Mostrito”, great and what can we say about the chaufa rice, we will return again with the family.

Terrible service from the waitress or host. She was very rude and had a bad attitude when we had lunch last weekend. The food itself was good, but the experience was really disappointing because of the service

Well, two stars because what was I thinking purchasing a $25 chicken.
I obviously love rotisserie chicken, so I decided to try something different. I think it was mojo seasoned, but I could be wrong. Strong seasoning. The chicken was made before, not to order, it was hot. It was a little overcooked and extremely salty. I still enjoyed to be different than the typical you get at the store. They say “a la brasa”, which means cooked with wood or charcoal, but I couldn’t taste it at all, so I would say it was cooked with gas.
Never again.
