So after our first Souther Muscle car show win. My beautiful wife and I decided to try this little out of the way Mexican restaurant. As many times as we’ve come to this area for the car shows. We never knew this place was here and it was literally right around the corner from us. The food is amazing. My wife had the fajitas. Served sizzling hot. Generous portions. Authentic Tex-Mex taste. I judge by how good the crunchy tacos are. I mean after all. If you can’t get something as simple as a taco right. You in the wrong business. Not the case here. Some of the best tasting tacos right out the gate. Seasoned just right. With generous amounts of rice and beans. This location checks all the right boxes. If I had to give it any negative at all. I would say a lil pricey for simple yet very taste Tex-Mex. With excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. You can’t go wrong with this choice. If you live in the area and haven’t tried it yet. Give it a shot. I’d be surprised if you’re not satisfied.

I have eaten here for years and they are always so friendly and the food is great. I accidentally called our order in tonight at this location instead of the location near I-12 and by the time I realized it the order was already made. I called back and apologized profusely and the guy on the phone was very kind. I am so sorry again and we will come eat there soon!

I’ve brought my family here since 2005. It’s the BEST Mexican restaurant in the area! I recently got a new job and brought my new bosses here today. They absolutely LOVED El Rancho! Portions are plentiful, service is amazing, and prices are great! Hopefully I’ve got my new coworkers hooked on El Rancho! Thanks for making me look good today guys!

This place has such a great feel. The color is very festive and warm and it just made me feel like I was part of a celebration. The seating isn’t super plush or luxurious, but it’s comfortable enough to sit through an hour long dinner for sure.
Our food came and it looked as amazing as it tasted. I’ve been to a bunch of hispanic restaurants, but this place wins my seal of approval because of the food, but also the very reasonable pricing. The wait staff was kind and courteous and I never had to ask for them to give me a refill. There were four in my party and they accommodated us very well.
If you’re looking for a five course meal at super fine dining standards, this isn’t your place. However, if you want to go eat and feel welcome, leave full, and still have your wallet intact- you must eat here. We’ll worth the trip.

At our favorite mexican restaurant trying something new. It was ridiculously amazing. As we usually do, we asked to try something authentic and this is what we were served. Fried whole tilapia along with this shrimp soup that we have no words for bc “it was so good” that is not on the menu.

Ordered my usual never had a problem in the past (chicken quesadilla) this time , I ordered take out per usual get home and it’s soo greasy it’s done basically turned to dough , at least the texture or raw dough , I ask me cheese and chicken only it’s still had veggies and a massive pile of Sour Cream I wasn’t gunna make a big deal called to let them know I wasn’t happy . They told me to rerun it so I did so the person at desk told me this is how it should be when I went to open it he completely and aggressively snatched and pushed at me to get the plate so I couldn’t open it. He knew it wasn’t right I then showed him the pictures I had taken I was going to have them remake it but after the aggression and poor customer service I couldn’t do it and ask for my money back at first he tried to tell me he couldn’t as I got more assertive with him he then gave me my refund. Before this I LOOOOVED this place but after this they won’t get another dollar from me.

I ordered a shrimp tostada, a steak fajita quesadilla (hold tomatoes, add mushrooms), and queso with chips and salsa. Everything was fantastic! Generous toppings and the quesadilla was STUFFED and so big I had to use a fork and knife because the filling was pouring out of it. This was the best quesadilla I’ve ever had. I ate on it twice and it was just as good reheated in the toaster oven. The tostada was great as well as the queso. This is one of the most affordable options if you need to Door Dash something as well, more bang for your buck. I’ve eaten on this meal three times and still have chips and dips left. I ordered this as a delivery order, but I’ve been inside the restaurant picking up a Door Dash order to deliver to a customer and can attest that they have great customer service and a very welcoming atmosphere. This is one of my new go-to spots around here after this experience!

I give the El Rancho on Range Ave 5 Stars. But this El Rancho on magnolia beach rd is deffinatly 1 star. It doesnt matter what i order from here, something is always wrong. no matter how clear you are, no matter how many times you go. it never fails. i barley do reviews but they are so bad at listening it’s completly rediculous. it took them messing up 5 orders for me to put a review. The one on Range Ave by bass pro shops is very consistant and great everytime, great service & great food there. you can deffinatly tell who ever is running the one on magnolia beach rd. needs to be fired !
