The food we ordered was delicious and a good size serving. We ordered the large margarita and while it was tasty, the giant glass was packed full of ice.
The place looks clean although I only went directly to the booth and did not use the restroom. The place looked like it could use some minor repair, but otherwise nice and comfortable booths.
Our server was friendly and stayed on top of it and gave us great and friendly service.

We visited on a snowy day after reading so many positive reviews while family was in town visiting Holland. Unfortunately, the atmosphere had an unpleasant smell, and the food was just okay. We were hoping for a much better experience overall.

I am a high food critic and their quessabirria tacos were the best I had had so far. Piping hot perfectly crispy but soft tacos, great amount of cheese meat onions and cilantro. Would come back just for those. And came with beans and cheese

My boyfriend and I ordered online. When we arrived, they didn’t have our order. After being questioned on if we ordered to the correct location and showing our receipt, they made our order. We received our order about 15 to 20 minutes later. However, they didn’t make the order correctly. I requested no tomato and no sour cream because of dietary reasons. Imagine my frustration upon looking at the order and discovering that they put tomatos and sour cream on my tacos! We didn’t have time to go back and have to wait for them to re-make it. So almost $45 on tacos was spent. I couldn’t have mine as it was drenched in so much sour cream it couldn’t be scrapped off. My boyfriends tacos (which was shrimp) had beef in it and were not that great.
I have no intent on ever returning to this restaurant as it is obvious they do not check the orders before they go out. Food is not inconsistent, it is just plain incorrect!

El Rancho looks very plain from the outside, but the inside is so cute and charming. I want to love this place, because I have friends who absolutely love El Rancho and go there all the time, but I just haven’t been super impressed by the food. It’s good, but not great… and I feel like Mexican food has so much competition and needs to be top-notch. Lovely drinks. I’d go back, but I hope to have better luck with the food in the future.

I ordered take out a few weeks ago seemed like it was popular and people like it. When I arrived I was not greeted at all, I told them i had a pick up order they just pointed at the back. Another gentleman did grab it and hand it to me, i said “Thank you, Sir!” and the response was “Okay”. I ordered Steak Jalisco, I’ve had something similar from Mexican restaurants before. When I got home, the chips and salsa were great. I had a plate with the usual rice, beans, lettuce, tomato and guac, all good. The steak was burnt and leather tough. Like i have never had before, they really reached a new level of bad for beef in my book. Shrimp looked great but they were so over cooked the shell would no longer separate from the shrimp. Somehow the onions were both burnt and raw. Like i actually had onion that was half raw and half burnt. Somehow the peppers were fine but seemed to be all Jalapenos. I really wish it was better, and i usually will give a place a second try. However, i will not be going back, I spent way too much money for a new level of bad. Definitely would not recommend.

My quesadilla was soggy by the time I made it to the other side of town. Upon trying it, it’s so salty I was unable to eat it. Even with a fork The beans and rice both lack flavor and consistency . They are mushy with no texture as if they put them in a blender. I also don’t understand why do you give mild sauce as if we don’t want HOT sauce. So disappointing. I will never go back.
