I first ate there when they opened up, which was several years ago, then a friend took me there again the other day as I hadn’t been there in over 10 years. The food was better than it was when I first ate there, and the atmosphere is kind of like a small version of the old Tequilas at Harrisburg. The service wasn’t bad but my menu felt and it looked like it hadn’t been washed in 6 months. So it was hard to think about what I wanted to eat when I had everybody else’s food already in my hands, so I’ll let you decide, but that’s my take, so I recommend carry out unless you insist on eating it there, as it will probably be the cleaner choice.

Had a really great time here. The music was very much Mexican, the steak was great, and our server was awsome. I ordered the “Carne Asada”, and the rice was delicious. The beans where out of a can, I could tell, and the tortillas weren’t homemade, but the food was good nonetheless.

Went to El Ranchito tonight. 2/5/2020. Fantastic meal and the live band was phenomenal. Staff were courteous and efficient, friendly and very hospitable. The Hawaiian fajitas were delicious. And my girlfriends steak&chicken fajitas were amazing as well. Would definitely recommend El Ran if you’re in the Harrisburg area.
