Staying in a hotel down the street and they recommended this restaurant with a few others so I figured I would try it out. Food was excellent.. came with chips and salsa and something like a queso dip. I tried the combo meal chile Riano‘s and enchilada with rice and beans. Everything was freshly made the chili Riano’s was excellent, not over battered and very tender cooked perfect perfectly.. they have several sizes of margaritas. I tried the medium. I didn’t go with the ones out of the machine. I had a fresh maid margarita and it was perfect.. if I am ever traveling through town again I would definitely go back. Our staff and waiter was top-notch.

Our motorcycle Ministry had a meeting there. There was about 50 of us at least there was not a wrong meal in the whole place. Everything came out very quickly and all orders were correct we had three birthdays and they sing to all of us I would highly recommend this place good food good service

I had the fajita nachos (steak) and asked for their homemade spicy salsa. Omg. I will never go anywhere else for them. My friend got their taquitos but said the nachos were much better. Hell yeah they were! Our waiter was super cool too.

We’ve been travelling thru this area regularly for more than a decade. We knew this place as Pueblo Viejo many years ago. Now it is El Ranchero, with the same fantastic food, generous portions, pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. We definitely suggest having the homemade Sangria- loaded with bits of delicious fresh fruit with your meal. I enjoyed lunch with the Enchiladas Poblanas, 2 chicken enchiladas with sweet chocolatey Mole sauce & Mexican rice. Hubby was starving after a long day of driving, he enjoyed the 3 Amigos with grilled shrimp, scallops, and chicken with vegetables. He couldn’t finish! He enjoyed the leftovers the next afternoon. We split dessert with the Fried Ice Cream- a personal favorite of ours.

The menu offers a fantastic variety of traditional Mexican dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors. I highly recommend trying the burrito ranchero and the guacamole – both were absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was spot on.
