Welcome to Double Dogs, the ultimate sports bar for dog lovers! Our casual atmosphere and dog-friendly outdoor patio are perfect for enjoying sports games with your furry friend. We offer delicious pub grub, including burgers, wings, and our signature Diddley Lager. A portion of the proceeds from this brew are donated to local humane societies, so you can enjoy a cold draft beer while also supporting a good cause. Our sports bar is filled with big TVs, so you never have to miss a big game, & our decor is adorned with photos of our Founder Dogs, Bo and Chancey. Never been to a Double Dogs but, they did not let me down. Service was great upon entering building it wasn’t busy because of all the snow. I could sit anywhere I wanted which was nice. Plenty of screens to watch all sorts of games! Full bar with plenty of seats! Food was great I got the onion rings and the Beef stroganoff Mac n Cheese. Both were amazing. Thanks for the great experience Double Dogs! Waitress was amazing!

We went her for the first time in a long time and I really don’t know why don’t go more often. I think the location is a bit out of site out of mind. However, our most recent visit is like similar visits. The waitress was nice and on point with refills. The food arrived in a timely manner. The nachos are HUGE and the wings are crispy. No complaints. I suggest you give them a try. If you are a sports fan they have TV’s literally wall to wall.

I am a tough critic so here we go… Ambiance is nice lots of tvs. The services was good the waitress was attentive after being asked for refills a few times. The food was what I would consider typical dive food. The pot pie was good but needed seasoning and a lot of the crust near the bottom edge was too burnt to eat. The Cole slaw was kinda awful. We had to add seasonings it just tasted like just cabbage nothing else. Obviously Cole slaw is cabbage but you’d like it to taste like something, anything. The nachos were also good and come in a huge dog bowl! but the chili is very tomato forward in flavor which was off putting to two folks in the group, it also doesn’t have beans which we did like. The chicken ceaser wrap was sent back it was not good. The hot dogs were good and had a nice snap. We all agree that the food was decent for the price.

We were stopping over in Lexington on a road trip from Toronto to South Carolina. Double Dogs was next to our hotel so we thought we’d give it a try.
The staff were friendly, service was quick, food was great. They were very accomodating to my children as they were a bit wrangy being cooped up in the car all day. The atmosphere was great for a sports bars, lots of TVs with different games on. Would definitely come back if in the area again.

We did a quick stop here on my son’s recommendation. I finally tasted a ‘new’ style of wing and thoroughly enjoyed it. The ‘Gene’s wings do not disappoint. They were good for a change in the normal wing world. A little salty and a little little spicy. Perfect for dipping sauce. The waitresses were very friendly and professional but not overbearing. My husband and I went out to double dogs for a quick bite after a movie. The environment was clean, the tables weren’t sticky, the wait staff were attentive. The food left more to be desired. I had the stroganoff mac and cheese and my husband had Thai garlic wings. Both were very bland with little to no flavor. We had asked the waitress about the heat/sweet flavor of the wings and she had said they are a little spicy. They weren’t spicy, they were mostly flavorless except for a taste of sugar in the glaze. I don’t think we will be returning. It wasn’t expensive and it wasn’t disgusting food. It just wasn’t good food. Presentation of food was nice just the flavor wasn’t there. We made pals with the table next to us as well and they felt similarly with their burgers. Great staff, just not great food.

Double dogs is officially off my list of restaurants I’ll go to. Have outdoor fireplaces going, it’s 50 degrees and sunny, and told me no one can sit out there because it’s “too cold”. Don’t get the fireplaces going if you’re not gonna allow outdoor seating. We even offered to come in and order. I just think it’s a bit misleading. The food is good, but between all of the issues we’ve had in the past, it’ll be hard for us to come back.

I walked in and wasn’t pleasantly greeted, but directed to the proper door that I should have come in. The waiter was pleasant at first. My BO burger was nothing to write home about. I finished my meal and had pushed it to the side and the waiter promptly handed me my check without asking if I needed anything more. If I wanted to feel like im in NY id go to New York.
