Seriously a fantastic experience. I am newer to New Mexico so I have been trying all the places as I travel. I judge a place off of their burrito. They have high standards. I ordered the Chorizo burrito. It was very full, big burrito. I asked for extra sauce and they had no problem putting inside the extra sauce in the burrito. Every element cooked to perfection inside. A taste of New Mexico flavor. The sauce was complex, yet balanced. EXCELLENT LOVED IT. I managed to eat the entire thing. Excellent serving, flavor, price, quality and service. Standards are high for mexican food in these parts and they hit every note on my palate. From the looks of it, the locals agree. Satisfied. I seriously might go back today before I leave grants, to try the lunch.

Had a wonderful experience with my family while passing through. The salsa was spicy but we couldn’t get enough of it. I had 4 tacos 2 beef and 2 chicken. Beef was my personal favorite but both options very good. Loved the homemade tortillas. The youngest in our group had the 3 enchiladas meal and he Chowed Down! One of the other kiddos got the cheeseburger, it was so good that she asked for a second one and we said yes! Extremely well done. All 5 of us enjoyed our meals and left full and happy. You could tell the food was prepared with love. Great service as well! Don’t judge this place by the outside. It’s a gem. Comfortable casual restaurant. Will definitely go back when in the area.

What a wonderful discovery. Finally managed to swing by and try it out. I am from S. Texas and am very picky about my Mexican food. This is the closest I have found to try Mexican homecoming. The food was very well seasoned, buy not too spicy. Portions are very generous. The ladies are extremely attentive and pleasant. Restaraunt is clean, ample seating, and enough space between tables for easy maneuvering. Highly recommend stopping here.

Service was good, but the food was weird. I ordered enchiladas and it came with onion, lettuce, and tomatoes on it. The red sauce was not the traditional Mexican red sauce and I was not a fan. They also have burgers if you would like something non-mexican.

This place was off the chain! The blue corn chicken enchiladas with the green chili sauce was so delicious. The homemade sopapillas were the best I have ever had. I really enjoyed this little family owned businesses.

The Tourist Trip
Definitely worth popping in on a road trip! I love Mexican food having grown up around it my whole life and this place simply hit the mark. A very unique feature in contrast to the traditional California Mexican food I’m used to was the sopaipillas which are such a delicious dessert. The flautas were fresh and could have been made by any Mexican abuela (Grandma) I know. The chips are crisp and tasted like they were homemade and the salsa was delicious as well. Stop in and you’ll find friendly staff, quick service and tasty food you won’t regret! This food made my day!
