Mexican food right in commercial area. A place to enjoy food with colleagues and friends. Overall they have a good menu and choices even for drinks. Though serving quantity is well balanced, not more not less.

Great Mexican food in the European Quarter. Great for a quick lunch or casual dinner! The food was fresh and tasty. Try the Aguachile!!! It was spicy, and chock full of raw shrimps, fresh avocado’s and the cool broth was out of this world! The homemade tortilla chips were perfect and crispy. The enchiladas were freshly made and the selection of tacos were amazing. Definitely coming back soon!

The portions are very generous. I would have been very satisfied with a two taco option instead of three. I particularly enjoyed the breaded shrimp tacos and my partner’s pulled pork was also very good.
The service was very good considering they need to be attentive to two floors of diners plus a third level down to the kitchens.
Good selection of Mexican beers.
Loved the 1970’s playlist!

We enjoyed dinner at this restaurant; the food was really good, and the overall experience was great. The drinks were also perfect. However, I have one minor complaint: we were not informed about the kitchen’s closing time after finishing our meal, so we were unable to order dessert even though our plates were empty for a while. We would have definitely ordered something sweet.

Small Mexican restaurant in the European quarter, with good service and pruces slightly above average. The starter and the main courses were pretty good, but the beef (especially in the tacos) could be better. But the biggest problem was the smoke and the cooking smells that were present in all the rooms. You need to equip yourself with a good air extractor…

El Quetzal in Brussels is a hidden gem for Latin American cuisine. The atmosphere is colorful and welcoming, with friendly staff who make you feel at home. Dishes like pupusas, tamales, and tacos are full of authentic flavor and made with care. Portions are generous, and prices are reasonable. Great spot for a casual dinner or to discover Central American specialties. Highly recommended for a unique culinary experience in the city.

This restaurant offers an authentic atmosphere with a laid-back vibe. The menu boasts a wide variety of ingredients, ensuring there’s something to suit even the most discerning palate.
The dishes here are simple yet incredibly flavorful, showcasing authentic flavors without unnecessary complexities. I particularly enjoyed the Strawberry Margarita, although it’s worth noting its potency.
During my visit, I sampled both the El Quetzal Nachos and El Quetzal Tacos, each offering a selection of flavors to explore. While some tacos stood out more than others, the generous portions compensated for the higher prices.
Speaking of prices, they lean towards the medium-high range for this type of establishment, but the overall experience more than justifies the cost

Food was so delicious that no time for photos. I took the Tacos El Quetzal, 4 different tacos, all just perfect! Place was getting full around 19.30, so book your table just in case. Gonna go there for sure again and again!
