Burritos had a good grill taste but the meat itself was tasteless and gritty. The added tomatoes put a bit too much acidity and the raw onions took away as well. The wait for these burritos was probably 10 minutes with only 1 other person waiting too so they are probably fresh? I’d go elsewhere sorry Puerto Taco Shop maybe try something else.

My boyfriend and I decided to come to this place during our vacation in San Diego as he had been here years before. We ordered shrimp burritos and my GOD they were delicious. As a Mexican myself I can say that their food definitely meets my standards. The only issue was them being cash only. We didn’t have any cash on us as we were traveling and didn’t want to risk carrying that on us. So we used the ATM that was available inside and it was not functioning properly. I tried to withdrawal $35 twice and no money was dispensed. As annoyed as we were, we were still determined to get food from here so we drove 10 min to the nearest ATM and 10 min back just so we could pay with cash. As I said, food was exceptional and the people who served us were very kind. Just wish you guys took card!

This was my first time here. Finished up on a job around the corner and decided to stop bye. The two girls in the front are very nice. Atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. Really glad I made this pitstop. Totally recommend this place!
