First time trying this place, we happen to find it by luck. A few places were closed co birria but primos was open and glad we came in to try it.
We ordered to go but sat down inside while we waited for the food. We were greeted by a nice gentleman who gave us some recommendations and told us about the promotions they have during the week like 2×1 birria tacos on Wednesdays.
Food: we got a half order of Birria that was good enough to feed 3 ppl. While we waited we were given complementary tacos de birria and man was it good!! We thought if the tacos were bomb the half order of birria was also going to be good and it sure was. For sure a 10/10 so whether you get the tacos or order of birria you will definitely enjoy!!
Service: service was great , staff very friendly and attentive not just with me and my group but everyone coming in which is something I notice a lot when I go to restaurants. We were given complementary birria tacos which was super cool. But again customer service 10/10!
Atmosphere: atmosphere looks fun and welcoming, although we were there to pick up food and go home right away we thought we have to go back and try the some of the drinks they offer at the bar because it looked good.
But overall experience 10/10

From the moment we walked in to the restaurant felt like a warm hug. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with dim lighting and a gentle hum of conversation. The food was absolutely exceptional; the Governador tacos was a symphony of flavors, was cooked to perfection. The server, was attentive and knowledgeable, making our dining experience truly memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

The ambience was very cool and mellow. The restaurant was Mellow and chill. The waitress and waitresses were very nice and quick and we got a nice table by the window. The bar was full service and cool looking with every liquor you can think of.
But the food was delicious. Very tasty and satisfying. The plate was a perfect size for a normal person and around $15 to $20 bucks a plate. We will be coming back again… we give it 5 stars

This place is amazing they have a lot of variety to choose from. Miguel our server has great recommendations he’s very professional and a major reason why we come here as-well. Food wise they are great portions and worth every cent yet it’s not too pricy. They have a vast range of drinks from juices to cocktails. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to the San Diego.

The ambiance is simple but elegant with a beautifully decorated bar.
Miguel, our server, was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us recommendations when we asked. He provided outstanding service.
For an appetizer, we had the Quezo Fundido with chorizo (melted mozzarella cheese) served with corn tortillas and four different hot sauces. All was exactly what we were hoping for, amazing! I had the Pechuga Doña Sofia (stuffed chicken breast with poblano sauce) and my husband had the Chile Relleno de Camarón al Mango (shrimp with mango sauce). Both dishes were absolutely delicious! The prices at this restaurant are so reasonable, considering the high quality of the cuisine.
This restaurant is an undiscovered gem!
Do yourself a favor and try it. You will be glad you did!

I’m glad I gave this place a second chance. This time we were seated right away and the service was good. The atmosphere is dim a great place for date night! It is very clean and spacious. Beautiful white decorative tree in the center of the restaurant. They serve cocktails all day. Has a full bar. The food is what made the visit worth it! We tried the culichi omelette which has shrimp and cheese with culichi sauce poured over, and the mole chilaquiles with birria. The mole sauce Is perfect! It is not too sweet and not too spicy it has the perfect balance of flavors. The omelette had enough shrimp but the sauce is what gave it the best seafood flavor without it being too fishy! We did notice that 2 servers were kept super busy! they could use another one to accommodate everyone but they did pretty well. They have a parking lot with plenty of parking. Good place for breakfast. Just note they do not open till 10am

The drinks were equally impressive, with creative cocktails and the best margaritas I’ve ever had (passion fruit my favorite)They were refreshing, well-balanced, and paired perfectly with the meal.

We finally had a chance to check out this place after a morning walk at the beach. No wait at all in the AM. Breakfast menu offers a lot of excellent options. I went for the culichi omelette and the avacado toast. The omellette was delicious the shrimp were cooked on point and the culichi green sauce was tasty. It was accompanied by rice w/ corn and a greek urugula salad. Next time i will totally subtitute the salad for beans imo. Just for balance to the dish and add bacon..( as i added from my daughters plate) some flour tortillas would have gone well with it too.. the avocado toast was ok. Good presentation but The sourdough bread could have been a bit more butterly toasty/crunchy to give more flavor.
My daughters had the french toast with fruit and pancakes with bacon strips. Prices were decent and will definetely come back for lunch and dinner.BTW props to waiter he was great and very attentive
I got my eye and that tomahawk steak next time. enjoy this new unique spot in the SSD.
