I usually go here for borracho beans. They are really really good. Honestly I haven’t tried anything else on the menu because I’m addicted to the beans I’m usually working but I’ve seen the drinks they make and I wish they were closer to my house. I know I would have a good time. Gabby is the manager she’s amazing. The staff is hella cool as well always smiling and being helpful. Is never empty it can get busy on the weekends but there is always room for you to have good food and a good time here! In case y’all see this…it’s your fav driver!!

They always bring out fresh, warm chips with queso dip and fresh salsa, which is wonderful that the chips are even warm and fresh. We shared a Chimichanga meal, served with beans and rice, they give you a choice of beans, refried, borracho or black beans, and have a little lettuce and diced tomatoes on the side. Portion sizes are perfect for sharing. Everything was hot and fresh, very flavorful and price is very reasonable. Service was excellent, our waitress was attentive and kind.

The food: they come out with chips and salsa (the norm) but also dropped off a small thing of queso! That was a nice surprise 🙂 …I had the shrimp street tacos with black beans and rice. Lots of flavor in all aspects of the meal. Nothing was dull or unseasoned. And the portions were huge! I could have shared that meal and I took half of it home.
Drinks: anytime I try a new Mexican restaurant, I go for the house margarita. If they don’t do that right, I don’t trust anything else. I had two people make me the two margaritas I had. They both tasted the same! Seems like a small thing but consistency is key imo. Knowing you’ll get a good drink no matter who is working is a big deal. The margaritas were fresh tasting, not syrupy but very light and delicious.
Overall a great experience! From the greeters at the front, to the servers and managers, everyone is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The regular salsa is a bit dull with flavor but adding a bit of salt helps with the flavor. The cheese dip is really good! The spicy salsa doesn’t disappoint.
Presentation looks good with the tacos. Rice was made well, no complaints. Refried beans were a little bland, but to be fair they are refried beans.
Tacos were tasty, could do wth a bit more seasoning on the meat. Using the spicy salsa brought everything together.

I tried Burrito California yesterday. It was fantastic! Stuffed full of mushrooms, onions, peppers, corn, zucchini and broccoli. I opted to add chicken. So yummy. A must try for veggie lovers. Another favorite is Enchiladas de Jalapeno Cream Cheese, also a must try. Jose was our waiter, he is attentive and friendly. Checking in to make certain we have everything we need. Our experience, 20 out of 10! Thanks El Potro!
