OMG!! Found my new spot!!! This place is our new GO TO!!! First time trying it and we are hooked!
Meeting the owners on our first visit, we were very impressed. Very nice, Warm and welcoming – great customer service! And, place is super clean, which is important to us! And the food?!?! Deeeelicious. I wasn’t even hungry when my husband took me here and ordered for us…. Ummm… I inhaled mine and started eating off his… we had the chicken tacos, chicken, enchiladas, and grilled chicken. ALL were delicious. I highly recommend El Pollote in Brighton. We will be back again!!!

Truly authentic enchiladas! Very fresh and a great portion. Ask for the hot sauce, which had just the right amount of heat. We will definitely come back again.

This little place on the corner makes the best chicken in town!! It is seasoned and grilled to perfection, and you can order a whole chicken that comes with rice and beans to feed the whole family. All the guys who work here are super nice, remember you when you come in repeatedly, and serve with a smile. They speak both Spanish and English. We love this place and order takeout frequently!

My review is based on me comparing this to California Mexican food so it’s a little biased you can say.
This reminded me of a mix between a el pollo loco & a taqueria. They only have chicken & no other options.
Food was good but was definitely “Americanized Mexican” food was tasty but noticed meat filling was very minimal. Barely any chicken in torta or burrito. We did come into restaurant approx 15 mins before closing so maybe they didn’t have enough prepped chicken? Not sure.
Id visit again if I lived in area but definitely wouldn’t drive out of my way to try again.

First time here, I ordered a whole chicken and respectfully it was terrible. So bland and dry and not fresh at all. $33 for a whole chicken that was worse than a $5 Costco rotisserie chicken. The rice and beans were delicious though.
