Once location centrally located in Manhattan beach area off the main road. Large parking area and clean store interior with ample seating and updated look. Food during lunch was hot and fresh. I ordered a two piece meal with mashed potatoes, side salad, and corn tortillas and it was good. Salsas at condiment bar has spice and and good kick so I would avoid giving it to the kids. Chicken pieces seemed small but I think that is the case everywhere and not just this location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Condiments bar area was fully stocked. Will be back.

I swung by this spot craving some fire-grilled chicken, and it mostly delivered. The citrus-marinated chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the warm tortillas were a nice touch. The service was quick, and the staff was friendly. However, the sides were a bit underwhelming, and the dining area felt a bit cramped during the lunch rush. This is like a regular at all your locations I have gone to. Not sure what is going on and why el pollo loco here and in Hawthorne Lawndale and Gardena all do this. This is very inconvenient when we order thru an app and expect to be done by the time promised on the app. Now here we are having to go thru a busy SLOW drive thru. We all have busy lives so it’ll be helpful if you just don’t allow the app to let us order curbside when it’s not offered. Now I’ll be late to picking up my children from school because I was hoping to get a lunch for them before I picked them up. Now this line is not just slow but long and no way I can get out. Very disappointed

The place has changed so much since new management took over. Service is great and the staff seem happy and are welcoming. The food is much better too, fresh and actually warm when served. Happy to be able to come back and enjoy this location again. Hats off to the new management.
