Not sure why, but everytime I come by here after work which is around 9:30 or 9:45pm. The drive-thru is freakin long. The movement to the order window is super slow. I mean why, it literally takes me 25 to 35 minutes to go thru. And a few times, i get told “ooh we ran out of that. Would you like something else”. Who runs out of broccoli or rice or pico de gallo. I know it’s late, and the restaurant is about to close, but unfortunately some of us can not arrive sooner.
I truly enjoy Pollo Loco, but come on. Keep the grills hot and enough products for us late night working scragglers.

This was my 1st and last time eating at El Pollo Loco. I ordered the two-piece grilled chicken. They were super small. The breast looked as if it had been split I to two. The meat was mushy as if overcooked. I don’t recommend it, unless you’re desperate and have the munchies after a night of clubbing.

They took 40 min to give me food through drive through. Carmen the manager gave me the excuse that they were changing shifts. I know that as a customer that is notvmy problem.

So my husband goes inside to order my food. Says no one greeted nor was there a cashier anywhere, he looked at a sign saying he needed to order on the kiosk. So he did. An elder came a few minutes later and again no one greeted him or said anything. The elder was looking at the menu waiting to order. At the same time my husband order number was called, they put the order on a tray. He told the young lady he ordered to dine out, she insisted on her side it said dine in,he showed her the receipt that says “TAKE OUT” because she seemed so insisted she was right. After seeing the receipt she says oh it must be a glitch in the system I told my husband if a restaurant is forcing us to order by kiosk do not spend any money there, turn around and leave. Now back to the elder he was still standing waiting to order, my husband thought the young lady would assist him so he didn’t say anything but he said as he walked out the door he turned and no one was assisting him.
El Pollo Loco prices are higher but you are pushing electronic transactions and no contact with people. Higher prices even with coupons, food quality doesn’t match the price hike and people losing jobs is not something I support or anyone should support. The elder not being assisted surely is a big indicator a cashier should always be available to place an order.
By the way I see under my review it recommended the chicken tostada… LET ME BE CLEAR I DID NOT RECOMMEND THAT IT’S WHAT WAS ORDERED. I RECOMMEND THAT PEOPLE NOT GIVE OUR MONEY TO ANY PLACE WITH NO REAL PEOPLE PROVIDING SERVICE✌️

I go to this location all the time, and they ALWAYS! Forget something and it’s the same thing. I always get a burrito and a side order of LARGE chips and my small bag of chips that come with the burrito is ALWAYS missing. It’s frustrating that I need to check my own bag every time to see if it’s correct. Yes, the fix is so easy but they should be checking the ticket. When I went last night, the cashier didn’t greet anybody, I stood by the pick up area to talk to someone and didn’t acknowledge me. When I checked my bag no chips, and I asked for them and he says, “ sure” excuse me? Saying sure is rude, rather than apologizing for HIS mistake. The same staff are always there and it’s never positive. I love El Pollo Loco and get the same thing so hopefully next time I go there, there can be change, and get my order correct.
Oh! And last time I went at 9pm, it was CLOSED! Google says closes at 10:30pm I would understand 10pm but it was 9pm!! I was craving my burrito and got disappointed.

I have been going to this location for years but I will not be going back again. Their kiosk system should be placed as alternatives not replacement of workers. Long lines are always forming and it takes a long time to place your order as many people dont know how to use the kiosk. In addition, the floor and tables are always dirty. Management definitely need to step it up and hire more employee.

The chicken is getting smaller and smaller and the price keeps going up. My fork is the same size as my chicken pieces. How are you supposed to get full with these 2 small pieces. Combo was 13 and some change.
