What a lovely restaurant. We were kind of early for dinner, but seated immediately and treated very well. Inside and outside the restaurant id decorated with beautiful hand-painted tiles from Portugal. My friend enjoyed roast scrod with “punche” potatoes. I had the equivalent of a seafood paella. All very delicious. A great experience overall.

Came for a late lunch/early dinner so no wait. Service was excellent!!! Great recommendation of things to drink and eat. Very happy to choose this place. We had the Lisbon octopus and seafood cataplana which were delicious! Photos don’t do it justice on the taste. We had Portuguese wine (house red) and beer which were great!

A great Portuguese establishment the environment puts you in a Portuguese chateau on the azorean mountains. The food delicious although needs a little more flavor it is cooked well. Overall good customer service. Heavy on the seafood if that’s what you are looking for I am sure you will have a great experience.

My husband and I love the Azorean Restaurant in Gloucester. You feel as if you’re visiting Portugal! My go to is the baked stuffed shrimp… 5 stuffed jumbo shrimp served with a side of melted butter, lemon potatoes and fresh green beans. The calamari appetizer is tender and sweet with a hint of heat. We tried their fish chowder – which was creamy and oh so good! I went for the seasonal Pumpkin Martini. They have the best drinks.

Felt like I was dining in Portugal! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The little neck clams in soup were rich and full of flavor—highly recommend ordering the bread ($4) to soak up every drop of the sauce.
Calamari with Molho Vilão was so delicious.
The Lisbon octopus was a standout—super tender and flavorful. It might have been a touch too soft for my personal preference, but the taste was excellent. Overall, a fantastic experience with authentic flavors and great service. I’ll definitely be back!
