Once again, El Pollo Loco delivered an incredible meal! The chicken is always so juicy and well-seasoned, and the sides are fresh. But honestly, the biggest shout-out goes to the team here. They are the best crew! They work so quickly, yet the quality is never compromised. The orders are always accurate, served with a smile, and the food is prepared fresh and tasty every single time. The food at El Pollo Loco has always been great, and I’ve consistently enjoyed my visits here. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was very disappointing. The staff overall seemed friendly and welcoming, but I overheard an employee named Sonia speaking negatively about me in Spanish simply because I asked for plates and salsa.
What made it even more uncomfortable was that she smiled at me afterward as if nothing had happened. I’m not a confrontational person, and I know arguing wouldn’t have helped, so I chose to share my experience here instead.

There’s always enough workers to get orders done so there’s never a wait, food is high quality, staff is attentive, lobby is clean and tended to, and they definitely have the cleanest bathroom you can expect to find at a fast food chain. Best one in town by far.

1.20.24: This evening I was craving a tostada salad and hit the drive-thru before the dinner rush. I ordered the double chicken tostada salad and it was pretty fresh and hot. The tostada shell was light and airy and not thick or hard, where sometimes it stabs your mouth or gums lol. The chicken had a good grill on it and it was still tender. The greens were crisp and visually fresh. The beans and rice were proportionate to the amount of greens given as well. My favorite is to get the avocado salsa as my dressing because it gives it that good kind of kick that’s not overly spicy. Service was prompt and they spoke clearly, which is always a plus going through the drive-thru.

I got the pollo bowl for only five dollars plus tax so very reasonable. I bring my own bottle of water because I do not drink any sodas. You can save on a lot of sugar and calories if you do this.
I go to pollo loco quite often and this is one of the more cleaner ones with good food.
The bathrooms were clean to.
This place is located about a quarter of a mile off of highway 80.
I highly recommend coming here and getting a quick lunch or dinner for a reasonable price.

Whenever I come to this location, I am treated with respect regardless of the team members that are currently on duty. The food is well cooked, steaming hot, and delicious. The orders are usually fast and so far always accurate. This restaurant has become my go-to place so I’m giving credit where credit is due.
