This location is incredible, corporate El Pollo should commend and compensate these rockstars at this location. So delicious. Zair and team, WOW. In 2025, integrity and passion stands out amongst a gray service industry. I’m so impressed. The chicken is crispy, fresh, served with a smile and in such a clean environment. Compared to the other locations in town, this one stands out as truly amazing. Great work everyone. Thanks for being the best el pollo loco I’ve ever been to in 30 years.

The drive through guy was rude and sucks at taking orders. We checked the bag because he was so crappy. We were sure that something was missing and sure enough he forgot a whole order not to mention the chip bag was turned upside down in the bottom of the bag and there’s bits of cold chicken probably from a different order inside the bag we had to go inside where we were met with more sucky people who ignored us to replace the order that they never rang us up for it also, I’d appreciate it if you got rid of that pizza face handling our food. We had ordered three combos one whole order, missing two sides and a drink. Update- I was contacted by a gentleman named Christian I appreciate him taking to time to reach out and listen to our concerns.

I don’t expect a lot from this place yet somehow it was disappointing! Maria is incredibly rude and should not work with the public. They gave me shrimp instead of chicken and I don’t eat shrimp. They then refused to give me a refund.

OMG…. I used to love El Pollo Loco, but today I received the worse food ever. I called and told them first off the wing wasn’t bigger than my thumb, secondly I told them the beans were not cooked and couldn’t believe his reply, “The beans not being cooked is not our fault.” He said the beans corporate has sent them aren’t really cooking well and they let them cook for 3 hours. I have never heard of any bean cooking for that long and not being cooked. They were hard as heck. He can tell corporate that they were also tasteless. It is one of the things I go there for. Never to this one. On top of that, they put dressing on my salad when they never did before. Said I have to say not to add dressing. Previously they just put the dressing in a container on the side which they did that as well. But why would I need both. They also didn’t take the time to steam or microwave the corn tortilla’s.

This El Pollo Loco at 9460 Sahara is awful. I hadn’t gone to them in months and decided to give it one last try…. smh ..the beans not being cooked is not our fault…. really, is it mine! You knew they were hard and should have expressed that before taking my money. Unreal…. I won’t be wasting my money there any longer.

This used to be our favorite pollo loco spot until it changed management. The chicken is always burnt and the service is lacking. They’re not hiring enough staff to keep up with the demand and it shows. There’s always something wrong with this place, is either running out of items on their menu or the chicken is burnt. And they clearly don’t want you eating in there anymore. Because the place is not well kept to cleanliness standards.

I was doing an Uber delivery at this location today, October 12 around 5:25 PM, and I left feeling really disappointed. I stood there waiting with no acknowledgment from the workers. Then another customer walked in, and the gentleman cooking the chicken immediately greeted and helped her like I wasn’t even there.

I honestly felt discriminated. Even the other customer noticed my reaction and had to tell the worker to help me. When he finally helped me, it turns out the togo order has been ready all along. Waste of time, Terrible experience. Review your camera, talk to your worker.

I ordered in drive thru. The place was alone, no more cars. The lady who took my order was not nice, I asked her if I could do a separate order and she said they only take one order in drive thru, I asked again and told her there were no cars. She said no. I understand a second order takes time but there were no more costumers.

I am reluctant to post a less than satisfactory review because I understand businesses are trying to do what they can to control costs; but this new era of no interaction between customers and the business is frustrating. This El Pollo location has kiosks for your order, they are not user friendly and they take too long to finalize my input. You have to pay on the machine (or can pay at counter when they get ready) but the staff all appear busy with other rudimentary tasks. Ut is obvious that people feel this non interactive manner of business upsets everyone, but businesses don’t care.
I do enjoy the healthier options of food but honestly want to McDonald’s today just because they WILL wait on you the old fashioned way.
No excuse not to engage with and serve the customer. It’s just a poor way of handling service yet we all put up with it.

I placed a pick up order in the app and when I got to the store, my bag of food was sealed shut making it difficult to check the contents. Should have been red flag #1 because when I got home and opened the back, my street corn burrito bowl was missing. Sad day.
