I absolutely adore this location! The arroz con pollo is so bomb! They have tasty lemonade, cookies and yummy tacos and burritos. They offer a 10% discount to guests of the Downtown Marriott Hotel across the street. The customer service is excellent. You will feel very welcome and right at home. And it’s all because of their manager, Bruce. He is a breath of fresh air, Darling! Glad I listened to other reviews and got the crispy brussel sprouts. They’re so crispy to the point where the texture is like roasted seaweed. The dark meat chicken was good but needs to be eaten with the sauce. Overall I was satisfied with my meal for $14.

Always a busy spot at lunchtime, but the wait time is never too long, usually less than 10 mins. Their bowls are delicious and recommend. Friendly and and attentive staff. The Almost Legal bowl with plantains is delicious.

Never been here before, but the staff was super helpful in my decision on what to order. I was gonna do all greens but decided to do half rice! I thought because they just opened that everything would be super fresh, but that wasn’t the case. Don’t get me wrong, it was delicious, but the chicken was cold. How is fresh rotisserie chicken cold?? Anyways, you get a two out of five, plus I watched my bowl sit on the counter for 5 mins before someone put a top on it and handed it to me! SMH… it was $14 dollars for that little bowl.

Ordered a 1/4 chicken with Brussels and handsome rice. Specifically got dark meat because I don’t like dry chicken. The chicken was dry and flavorless. The Brussels sprouts were greasy, overcooked, and underseasoned. The rice was good.
The prices would be reasonable if the chicken was good, and there’s a nice selection of interesting items on the menu. I’ll maybe try it again in hope they were having an off day.

Overall, quite a delicious chicken place. While a bit pricey, the food is very good and highly flavorful. If they could find a way to cut cost without cutting quality then I’d probably eat here very frequently. I simply can’t afford $12-15 a day on lunch.

The brussel sprouts were the highlight since they were almost crispy enough to taste like dried seaweed or chips.
