Wow! Husband surprised me and brought home tacos from this place. First time we had ever tried them, but we’ve heard a lot of amazing things about this place a few times. Tacos were very flavorful and food was delicious. The salsa reminded me of salsa I used to eat in Mexico when I was a child.
They make their own tortillas on site and you can definitely taste the difference in the quality of food. The only negative about the tacos is that they only used one tortilla and since there tortillas are still fresh, it falls apart super easy once you place your toppings on it. Other than that, this place definitely is worth a try.

Very tasty food! I got the half a chicken meal with rice and beans. It also comes with tortillas, chips, and a small amount of salsa. The Salsa was good but the green sauce was super spicy for me lol. The chips are on the thick side but were perfect to hold the salsa. They have a variety of drinks as well as special fountain fruit drinks and horchata. Service was very poor and they didn’t check on us at all after dropping off the food. Luckily the drink cups were huge and we didn’t have to ask for more. I will return but probably have my food to go.

Chicken is great, prices are more than fair..tacos and everything not chicken is so so. I wasn’t a fan of the rice, tasted old and had a funk to it…beans were alright. Their hot sauce was nice and spicy but lacked on flavor and their salsa needed salt and a dash of hot sauce to hit the mark. Service was pretty good..I can tell it’s a spot for regulars. I’ll be back around for their chicken for sure tho, but not anytime soon.

Different from the traditional American restaurant. This place is authentic, so you might want to know a little Spanish. I don’t think they give refills on drinks either. The food was good, but the torta I had was not very meaty. Maybe they are supposed to be like that, but I would have liked more meat on mine.

The food is absolutely delicious! Beans have flavor, rice is good. The best is the homemade tortillas and chips are made fresh, not out of a bag. Everything has amazing flavor. There are only 2 downfalls. Food and tortillas are not hot when they comes out like they should should be and waitress isn’t on top of refilling drinks. I can understand that part being that they sell drinks in glass bottles and cans. Maybe not used to filling up water cups. Overall experience is great! Very clean also which is a plus! Will be back.

Excellent food and great price! Got the roasted chicken with tortillas, rice, beans, hot sauce and chips. They give a good serving as well. Everything tasted great! Will definitely be back.

I visited the location on the loop today and they were EXTREMELY unprofessional. I frequent their regularly but today I walked in and all 3 workers were sitting after finishing eating. I spoke and they busted out laughing and started talking in Spanish, and they remained seated while I stood there waiting to place my order. They didn’t move until they were ready ( including the older lady who should lead by example). I started to walk out because this behavior makes no sense at all. Another Black guy came in after me, and another one who was just standing there waiting to be acknowledged, but the young girl said absolutely nothing to him and yep he turned around and walked out. We live on their side of town, but I think that we’ll go back to this location on Green st. where we’re treated with respect always.We keep them in business as everyone else and shouldn’t be treated as a joke or less than. I wish the other lady who used to work there was there; the service was better and more professional; I’ve never had this type of issue at this location before. I hope they fix this problem before they have little business from Black customers at this location or none at all.Then I get home only to have burnt peppers and pepper stems, no limes or onions. If you don’t want my business just say so and I’ll gladly not come to your establishment again.

Good Food! Service was poor cashier took my order was super rude to me and other customers waiting on to go orders and to her co-worker. You can tell her negative attitude effected her co-worker. Really unnecessary. Chicken wasn’t that good to go back to that kinda attitude.
