The food is great I can’t even complain! It’s jus the lady server is ver rude and disrespectful to certain “Black” customers and that’s not right! She’s very racist and I will tell her that to her face, I jus wanted to document this review especially for her so when she sees it she can appreciate business from Black people like myself!

Cafe Poblano is a diamond in the rough. It’s a hole in the wall spot that serves tacos, mexican food and a few authentic foods that you can’t get anywhere else. The totas and cemitas (mexican sandwiches) are great as well as the tacos. If you are feeling adventurous, try the Pambazo, its street food from Mexico City and it’s basically a torta bread loaf, dredged in guajillo sauce and cooked on the grill, filled with potatos and chorizo. It’s a meal by itself, but make sure you take it to go because you might need to clean up after and they don’t have a bathroom!

Tacos el Poblano is definitely one of the best places in Yonkers to get Mexican food. All of their dishes particularly the nachos are great. A little expensive for a hole in the wall style joint but worth it. Only reason they don’t have 5 stars is because the tacos lack consistency. Some days they taste better than others although they are never bad.
