We had a great dining experience here!
We came here with no reservations, so only the high top tables up front were available. We ordered the clams as a starter, it was so delicious! I suggest you order a side of bread to scoop up the remaining garlic oil sauce. For the main we shared the seafood paella and the grilled shrimps. The shrimps melted in your mouth, they were so perfectly cooked. The paella was also very tasty. The stand out for me was this shrimp cracker that was on the menu. It was a wonderfully crunchy snack packed with umami flavor, I would love to have two orders of this, it was so good.
For sure one of the best seafood meals I’ve had here in Granada. Loved it !
* Worth mentioning why I am deducting one star even though the food was standout. We didn’t have reservations, so we were told only high top tables available because the restaurant was fully booked. For the 2 hours we were there, 90% of the main tables remained empty. They had an entire floor of upstairs seating, downstairs seating, and courtyard. I did notice another couple walking in with no reservations and they got seated. I do feel there is some kind of discrimination happening here for who gets a table and who doesn’t. Maybe because we were tourists.
The paella was amazing, and Manuel made everything even better with fun conversation, his bubbly personality, and excellent English. As a Granada native, he also gave us great local tips, including advice on getting to Sierra Nevada.
He was incredibly attentive — even bringing us an extra chair right away when he saw we had multiple coats (newly bought ones too)
Exceptional service, warm hospitality and a true highlight of our visit to Granada. Thank you, Manuel!
I wanted to say goodbye and let him know that I left a good review, but he was too busy, lol, so I just left. Please tell him thank you for his smile to the Chinese girl who came to dine alone this afternoon.:)
Overall, I’d recommend this place to anyone who likes paella. The service wasn’t overly enthusiastic, which was just right for me—especially on a rainy day 🙂
I thought the cuttlefish seafood paella was ok and would recommend it. I also had a non-alcoholic beer and a pink strawberry milkshake-style drink (or cocktail?).I love the color, so 5/5
Also the tapas that they’re giving you one of a kind. Everything they bring you on table is FRESH.
Second time I had seafood paella, congrats, very good. You can feel the taste of real fresh seafood. Price is higher than other places but it’s absolutely worthy.
But also special thanks to service, all of them are very kind and well informed.
Little note; I suggest to order things one by one because dishes are big enough, that’s why price is also very acceptable. At the end they offer you a liquor/ a kind of ice coffee.
