El Pescador is located in a strip mall in Carson. Parking is free and easy. They have a large lot. The place itself is large so you can’t miss it once you drive in. They have daily specials and all sorts of events there.

Came here to have dinner after a training and to have a drink before bed. The bar had incredible service and a great atmosphere. Music was all over the place which was nice because they did not just stick to one genre on a Thursday evening.

I had the fish tacos, and it was 2 thin strips of fish. In addition, I also ordered a tostada de shrimp ceviche, and it was all disgusting. It was hot and had no flavor. The beer I ordered was on draft, and it was warm. Not to mention, the glass smelled like dirty soap water. By the way, the beef nachos are taco meat, not carne asada. Looks were so deceiving. As visitors of CA, we were hoping to eat at a delicious Mexican restaurant, and we were very disappointed.

Really great plates, cool atmosphere not to crowded, our server was super attentive of us constantly. The Margarita drink was too strong of mix though and dining room walkway is a bit small. Will definitely return.

Horchatas here taste great but the food in general is just “all right”. We were seated in the bar area which turned out to be quite dark but we figured we could make it work. Our orders where taken promptly but they messed up one of our orders twice when bringing it out. Also their guacamole is good but they put it on top of my “salad” which was basically lettuce and a slice of tomato that my guacamole ended up mixing in. The service was okay, the food was also okay but I would probably not be back.

I have dined here often. Good food and great service, usually! Most recent visit March 15th,2023, was VERY BAD!! Took my best friend there for her birthday, with another friend who had never been to the restaurant. The server got the food and drink orders wrong. The beef was tough. I always get Chili Colorado, but it was horrible this time. Only thing that was good about this visit was the chips and salsa and pictures we took. Even the atmosphere was not the same.
