Hidden gem! Worth the find!
Manuel was wonderful! He was so kind, funny and made the experience a 10/10. We had the Pollo Patron & Tacos de Carne Asada and daaaaannnnngggg they were FIRE! Queso was also delicious! Definitely recommend.

The food is incredible. The portions are huge you get 2 meals out of one. It was all perfect. I am an el ixtapa girl all the way until I came in here, from the chips and salsa to the jalisco with the steak and shrimp and even my babies nuggets and fries were superior to all the other places in town. I am now an el patron girl all the way. If you need a new favorite restaurant, El PATRON is it. Check them out hidden gem behind the exchange celebration hall.

We stopped here on our way back from hiking. We ordered the chicken fajitas. The chicken was tender but the meat needed more seasoning. We struggled a little communicating with our waiter . Cute little restaurant.

Food was amazing, so good with authentic flavors. The staff was very nice and very attentive. We enjoyed everything, the frozen margaritas are hugeeeee. We got a medium sized one and were able to share it.

I had Spinach & Chicken enchiladas with roasted poblano & spinach crema & roasted red peppers. The chicken was seasoned well and sauce was so good, reminding me of a recipe I tried years ago, but even better. My husband had Pollo Special, grilled chicken & chorizo. We were very pleased with our selections and food quality.

We were traveling through and decided to not go to our first choice due to it looking to bar like for kids. This place was next door so we opted to try it. Service was fast and food was very good. Lots of flavor in the chicken fajita nachos with big portions for a lunch menu item. Chips are light and crispy. Salsa had just the right kick!

Fantastic! Such a nice surprise to find an excellent Mexican restaurant hidden behind the old town square. Tasty salsa with lots of flavor and the right amount of spice to leave my mouth feeling warm. For my meal, I had the Burrito Supreme. The rice was flavorful, moist and a slightly fluffy texture. The beans that accompanied the meal were creamy, savory and topped with a few sprinkles of cheese. The burrito itself was filled with moist ground beef, rolled in a tortilla and topped with lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Delicious meal. Kind service. Interesting atmosphere. Highly recommend…now I need a nap.
