This place has the look and feel of a local kitchen you would see down in Mexico. Very authentic vibes. The food was delicious! I had the Quesabirra tacos and my wife just had a quesadilla. The chips came out warm and the salsa was mild and not hot. They served our meal with a green and a red sauce. Both added a little heat to the dishes. Coke is served in glass bottles only, no fountain drinks. All in all come hungry and this place with satisfy.

Tried this new place with my wife and loved it! The owner was very pleasant and I love it’s a family run restaurant.
First impressions were great and stayed true. Water is purified, chips were hot and fresh, guac was amazing, salsas were full of flavor.
I ordered the Quesobirria tacos and they were delicious and the consomé had a nice balance of savory, salty and acidic.
My wife ordered tacos de pastor, birria, fish and shrimp. The fish was probably talapia, and it was good. I’m not a huge fan of talapia but they still did it justice. The birria and shrimp were both amazing, but the star was the al pastor. My wife liked it so much she said she wants to order a plate full of just the meat next time

This place is a hidden gem in the city of Omaha. Although the restaurant of the outside is quite unassuming, the food and service was great. You first are greeted with a bowl of tortilla chips and salsa where the tortilla chips aren’t just normal tortilla chips, but they are served nice and warm which adds to their deliciousness. I ordered the al pastor burrito, and the burrito really stands out amongst all the other burritos due to the burrito wrap being grilled and having grill marks on the exterior which helped keep the burrito together while imparting a nice taste and texture. My gf ordered the birriatacos and they were excellent as well and had a nice crispy texture. I definitely recommend this restaurant, and I will be returning soon!

The chips were fresh. Salsa was chunky and delicious. I ordered the menudo and it was fantastic. Good presentation, handmade tortillas, and nicely chopped condiments. Huge pieces of pancita!

For nearly 2 decades I’ve been searching for the perfect taco. I’ve been coast to coast and up until now, the closest I had come was a little taco stand outside a truck stop near Sacramento. I almost gave up hope, but finally I’ve found what my heart has desired for so long. El Patron makes the perfect taco.
It’s a hole in the wall, but if you love authentic Mexican food, this place is seriously incredible. Would be nice if the chairs were a little more comfortable though.
