Good food, was not disappointed. Ordered a carnitas plate and it hit home. I have had better carnitas but these were served with pinto beans, red rice (ok) and salsa. Chips were served too!

Came here for the first time. I ordered the shrimp cocktail. When I received my order some of the shrimp wasn’t clean. I kindly sent back my order and the manager was very rude when she came to talk to me. She asked me what the problem with the shrimp was and stated they buy their shrimp “clean” already. She said even I order another one it’ll be the same. Respectfully if the shrimp isn’t clean own up to it and fix the order. At the end of the day this is a business and if you want your customers happy maintain health standards. Everything I had here was mid expect for the horchata.

It was ok. I had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Small bits of chicken on it and not much of it. My husband got enchiladas, with the green sauce. It was good, but not exceptional! Ditto with the beans and rice! Prices are very high! I am only giving a 3 star because they changed my 2nd shot of Tequila. To a MUCH more, expensive one, that I did NOT ask for! We didn’t catch that until looking at the bill the next morning!, That left a bad taste in our mouths, if you know what I mean.

We want to love you, but we are just at like now, after our 2nd visit. The first time we came after opening seemed better. Drinks, food were more on point. This visit, drinks took way too long, the spicy margarita was too spicy (had to be remade). Pozole and the burrito were kind of bland. Even the paper menus were ripped and needed a fresh printing. Menu seemed a little ho hum standard CalMex. You can’t charge TacQuila prices without delivering on the drinks and food. C’mon guys, let’s step it up, we’re rooting for u, there are so few good restaurants in LQ.

Place is one of the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to the service is great the drinks are great you have no idea until you go there what I’m talkin about I won’t ruin it for you it’s owned by a family local sisters and brothers father and mother run these restaurant in La Quinta there is also another patio in Palm Springs I strongly suggest or even challenged you to go and experience for yourself this place I give 5 star rating all the way around great place for family friends.
