I happen to be passing through town and found this place. From the outside it has a Mexican puebla look and the inside was big and clean. I had the enchiladas with salsa verde and a michelada and my sister ordered the carne asada tacos. The server was very nice and new the menu quite well. I mentioned to her I only like the spicy micheladas with salt and lime so if it was a sweet one then would opt for the margarita instead. She politely said okay but had a look like why would we make it sweet? Some Mexican American places do that but traditionally its salt lime and spices. Anyhow the enchiladas were pretty good. The portion was big and the salsa verde was mildly spicy with a little tang to it. I did love how the corn tortillas were a little toasted eventhough they were drenched in sauce. My sister’s plate on the other hand made me and my brother in law jealous. I have no clue what he ordered and forgot about my own plate when the carne asada came out on a skillet with caramelized onions huddled around it. It was perfectly seared and lightly salted and the tortillas was fresh corn tortilla off the hot iron. If you like tacos let me tell you it does not get better then that. All in all it is a good place with genuine Mexican food and if you want to find other more traditional Latin American places ask the servers they know their food.

These guys turned a bad night around for us. Every single person we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The manager Omar, was exceptional and went above and beyond for us. Even the other diners were all really friendly and nice. The food was all very good. I LOVED all the pickled and grilled authentic side vegetables they were a great touch. My husband’s Asada steak was perfectly cooked. Definitely recommend.

I ordered a grilled chicken taco salad. The chicken tasted “off.” The manager came to the table. After explaining, I was told they had received a shipment of “bad chicken” the day before. Nothing was done. The salad was removed from the bill but nothing offer of something else or even an apology. Poker customer service

Terrible service, cold food.
I’d heard excellent things about El Paso ever since moving to the Northshore, but understood it was a bit of a splurge compared to all the other texmex options nearby so I was waiting for the right day to try it. My girlfriend and I arrive around 2:20 and were promptly seated but didn’t see our server until 8 minutes later. We ordered a tea and water, and an additional 10 minutes later, we had neither. The salsa and bean dip that came to the table were so bland I was adding salt to the chips, but at least those were hot and fresh. We had to ask for a drink menu, and after ordering a cucumber margarita ($18!!!!) it arrived 15 minutes later. I asked about the price because it wasn’t listed on the menu, but my server didn’t know. I surely would NOT have spent $20 on a weak margarita with chunks of cucumber floating in it had I known it wasn’t a well made margarita.
It took our server over 30 minutes to take our food order despite being the only table in the building. We watched him bus other tables and chat with coworkers all while ignoring our empty cups and chips. The food was okay, but the tiny bits of room temp chopped steak on top of soggy cheese enchiladas was not worth it. I’m bummed to have had this experience but thankful to have crossed El Paso of my list of decent texmex joints in town. Over $100 later ($60 of which was spent on 4 margaritas in total) I’m supremely disappointed and honestly wish id asked for a refund.
I looked on the website for a way to contact a manager about our experience but alas there were no routes available. It’s honestly pretty disappointing and disgusting when a business makes zero effort to hear the feedback of their customer base, especially considering how pricey everything is.

We drive past 10+ Mexican restaurants to come here as often as we can. I’ve never had something off the menu I don’t love, but if you want to do yourself a favor get anything with steak in it; they do steak better than any place else. 10/10 won’t go anywhere else

I called in for an enchilada lunch dinner and was told it would be ready in FIVE MINUTES!! (I should’ve known) When I got to the restaurant to pick up my order, it was ready all right but the chips were cold, enchilada was just warm and it was not fried long enough and my queso was only half filled in the cup. This dinner was probably made hours earlier and I got the leftover. I will not return..Disappointed!! This lunch was $16

I come to El Paso quite frequently. They do have very good food. It’s one of the latest open Mexican places in the area, and I work nearby and get off late. But they are getting a little confusing with the menu VS check. More than once I’ve observed the prices of my meal and then the bill comes out completely different. Flavored margaritas per menu are $8.25, so we ordered a frozen/strawberry margarita. On the bill it showed as $7.99 +$1.00 for the frozen. Then +$1.00 for the flavor! All the a la carte tacos are, per menu, $4 each for ground beef, shredded chicken, or cheese. The bill says the 2 shredded chicken tacos are $4.25/each. The tortilla soup lists “shredded chicken” as a topping. Then receiving the bill with the price of the soup, with again $1.00 added for the chicken! That is listed on menu and have never had to request chicken when ordering. It is just confusing that the prices do not reflect on the bill as they show on the menu. It feels dishonest and disappointing , because I truly like the atmosphere and food at El Paso. PLEASE fix this so I can feel GOOD about coming to a place I have enjoyed many times!! I would be fine with these up-charges if they were listed. Thank you for reading and I hope to see menu changes soon.

Everything was delicious. The best Chili Relleno I’ve ever had. We were there near closing but got excellent service and food.
