El Pariente Food Truck – St. Paul

  4.3 – 282 reviews   • Mexican restaurant

Social Profile:

El Pariente, a pioneering Mexican catering and banquet business in Minnesota, began in 1997. Over time, customer demand led to the opening of Saint Paul’s East Side’s first Mexican food truck in 2014. Three years later, in 2017, we established our first and only restaurant in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, which has been enjoyed by many notable guests. We are particularly known for our Birria Tacos, El Surco 18 with Carne Asada, Torta with Al Pastor, and Street Tacos with Barbacoa.

Super delicious me Mexican tacos, best tacos ever. We are here in Saint Paul Minnesota for vacation and my niece and husband invited us to this amazing food truck.

I love the tripe tacos! Super fresh and authentically delicious. The asada and chorizo tacos were good too but the tripe was the star! Sad I couldn’t get the horchata since they ran out but I will be back.

Absolutley love this place. The tacos had an amazing flavor even before dipping them in sauce. The service was super fast as well!!

Bad service & food at their food truck. They also put valentina sauce in their piña when it was not in the menu description… it was supposed to be chamoy and tajin. When we told the staff this and that it wasn’t what we wanted they said it was to make it more spicy and didn’t offer a correct order or a refund. It was the least that could be done with not making the order correct! Food & safety concern much? Bad business, won’t be back! Will definitely be telling people to NOT come here.

it’s terrific! I’ve been there 5-6 times. Excellent food and service. My favorite restaurant of this kind of food. I especially enjoy the 18″ quesadilla type menu item. The corn in a cup is good too. (Sorry I don’t have the actual names). I’ve been telling all my neighbors.

super watery beans, incredibly expensive for food that’s mid. If you want to spend $65 on basically nothing I suggest you look for more options and don’t come here.

They are way to expensive for what they are selling. I get it we’re in a ression but 21 dollars for a street taco meal is steep.

El Pariente is the best in the game by far. Fresh, delicious, and authentic! If you’ve tried their food truck, you gotta stop by their restaurant for the full menu. The El Surco is 11/10!
