Restaurant located inside the Holiday Inn (Spring Lake) was just mediocre. Limited menu for food but many choices for cocktails. Service was fine (likely because it was not busy). Party tried the “build your own burger” with grilled chicken and a take-out order of the Angry Pig burger. Fries and onion rings were very tasty, chicken was just ok (on dry side) and you can tell burger meat was premade/frozen). Serving sizes were decent for the price. Coke products are a plus. Atmosphere was the nicest part about visit because there are nice windows to see the marina. (Outdoor seating available when weather is warmer.) It’s an option if you need a place to go in the area but we wouldn’t choose to return for any reason.

Kids menu & activities are great. Server bartender was very friendly and awesome. Wife and I both shared / enjoyed a burger and chicken sandwich. We’ll be coming back!

We just moved to the area and came in for a burger and a couple of beers after a long week of moving, sat at the bar . Ordered a pitcher of beer and an appetizer to start.

1.) The bartender refused to fill the pitcher up past the handle because it was “too much beer” for $14. Light beer, mind you. We weren’t allowed to pick anything else. It can to just over one pint each.

2.) We got nachos to start and the chips were stale, the meat and liquid cheese were cold, and it was missing the toppings. Pretty sure they microwaved it. He charged extra to get the toppings it was supposed to come with from the menu. No plates or silver ware were offered or given. We had to ask someone else.

3.) When he asked why we didn’t order anything else, we explained our experience and he just shrugged and said, ” That’s too bad, our burgers are pretty good.”

I am not a picky person, but this place was a terrible experience all around. Maybe it was the day? Maybe sit at a table?
We ended up getting a great burger and beer at the brewery across the street!

We have been coming to the holiday inn for the past few years and get breakfast every morning during our stay and we’ve had the absolute pleasure of being served by Amari and I can honestly say she provided some of the best service I’ve ever experienced. She is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive without ever being overbearing. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.

Her warmth and genuine care truly stood out—she made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy, and it made our dining experience exceptional.

It’s rare to come across someone who combines professionalism with such kindness and sincerity. Amari is truly an asset to this restaurant, and I will absolutely be coming back because of the amazing service she provided.

Highly recommend asking for her if you want your dining experience to be extra special!

My salad was full of pieces that were wilted and brown. They were kind of hidden toward the bottom. When ordering my burger, I was clear – no onion, no cheese. It’s an allergy issue – not diet preference. I got a burger with cheese and lots of onion! Personally, I’d eat at Wendy’s before I return to Burger Theory. Overpriced yuck.

I thought this place was great! I enjoyed my Sirracha Steak Salad, my little side kick was super excited about her fries in a bucket, and my friend built her own burger. Meat was cooked perfectly. Our server was super pleasant!
There was a small bar, and they had a cozy fire place. Nice and relaxing atmosphere.

We are on our 2nd stay at the holiday inn. We have been lucky enough to have Amari as our waitress every morning. She makes our crazy morning a lot easier with providing us with a yummy breakfast and a smile.
