Our group went here because it seemed to be a more upscale Mexican restaurant. I guess I could say some of the food options would support that. Service was ok but could have been quicker considering the restaurant was nearly empty. The biggest issue was that they were OUT OF ICE! Half of us were looking forward to trying their margaritas. Well if they didn’t want to sell drinks we just went with water which didn’t appear to come from the cold faucet. The tepid temperature did not add to the dining experience. Sending someone out for a 25# bag of ice seems like a pretty simple solution.
The food was well prepared aside from the non fried chimichangas mentioned in a previous review, but a mixed bag in flavors. A few were quite delicious, but a couple of us didn’t care for the spice mixes in some dishes. Chips were good but salsa not very flavorful also as previously reviewed. Portions were good.
Overall a disappointment.

El Parian is brand new but already feels like an established favorite. Great food, great service, and a really welcoming vibe. This will be my regular stop whenever I’m in Little Canada. Five stars!

I ordered the Burrito San Pancho… and then received the worst food poisoning of my life. I will never return, nor recommend this restaurant anyone. If this can happen once, the people running this location will probably let it happen again. Please! wash your hands! and practice basic food safety! or your restaurant will inevitably fail. I definitely won’t risk food poisoning again. Goodbye.
